Overall, Hotel Midmost by Majestic Hotel Group is great for a short city break. Our room had everything we needed, being close to all the sights was an added bonus. The room itself was clean, spacious yet stuffy due to issues with the air con. But the rooftop bar and plunge pool made up for it. We would definitely consider staying here again.
The staff at Hotel Midmost by Majestic Hotel Group made our stay an unforgettable one! The rooms were spotless and the staff so friendly and attentive, it was a pleasure to stay here. Even though it rained, we had an enjoyable time wandering around the city and still managed to enjoy the fantastic views from the roof top terrace. We'll definitely be back!
My stay at Hotel Midmost was nothing short of appalling. We stayed in room 205, a small and dark room with only a shaft for air exchange. The common areas were dirty, and the room was full of dust, the rusty shower and the mouldy ceiling did not add to the ambiance. The breakfast was poor and the carpets, furniture and common spaces were all covered in knots of dust. The lifts had buttons that were never cleaned as evidenced by the photo. We also experienced a lot of noise coming from the other rooms and the staff were unhelpful, grumpy and unaccommodating. Overall it was a terrible experience and I would not recommend staying in this hotel.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to any travelers looking for a central yet peaceful hotel.
Staying at Hotel Midmost by Majestic Hotel Group was a terrific experience. We stayed in the beginning of October and it was very peaceful. The hotel was very well-located, close to all the tourist attractions, but set away from the hustle and bustle of the Ramblas. We didn't have food at the hotel, but the rooftop bar/pool was truly a highlight. Every night it felt like it was just us, and the waitress was always so friendly and brought us snacks/nuts. After a long day there was nothing better than relaxing with our feet in the pool. The room was well-decorated and provided robes and slippers. It was also very clean and the staff provided a Spanish/English electricity adapter, which was a very helpful bonus. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a central and tranquil experience in Barcelona.
