This hotel was a disappointment. Despite its central location, the noise and crowds of tourists, partygoers, homeless individuals, and beggars made the stay unpleasant. The constant sound of the subway disrupted our sleep, even on the third floor. The walls were so thin that we could hear our neighbor's radio playing late into the night. The lackluster staff did not provide any help or friendly service. Our room was poorly furnished, with no desk or chair and a small safe that couldn't fit our iPads. The bathroom sink lacked a drain cover and the hairdryer outlet had no cover, which should not meet safety standards. The two towels provided were subpar, and our room was not cleaned on two afternoons. Additionally, our key did not work twice, with the excuse of a computer problem given the first time and no explanation the second time. It was clear that the staff were not interested in providing a pleasant experience. The lack of responses to negative reviews also speaks volumes. With so many other options available, I would not recommend staying here.
This hotel we have stayed at previously and always enjoyed it; we would definitely return! Its convenient location makes it easy to explore the Gothic Quarter by foot. The staff was attentive and allowed us to leave our luggage while we explored the city until our room was ready. However, we encountered a few issues with our room. The safety deposit box was not secured to anything and had dead batteries, the bedside lamp was missing a bulb, and the mini fridge and wine cooler did not cool properly. Additionally, the bed frame was bigger than the mattress, leading to some bruised toes unless we wore shoes. On the plus side, the bathroom and shower were perfect, with a great size shower and provided soap, shampoo, and hand soap. Our room also had a view of the busy Rambla, but unfortunately, it was located on the first floor next to the restaurant and bar, resulting in loud music and a loud WC outside the door. To get ice, we had to purchase it at the bar, but it would have been nice to have a couple of glasses of ice available in our room. Despite these inconveniences, the staff remained friendly and accommodating, making us want to return again in the future.
an engineer I believe, who came in and said she couldn't do nothing and just left. We had no other choice but to open windows all night as it was too hot. The location is good as it is close to La Rambla, but given the quality of the stay, it definitely doesn't justify the price.
I stayed at Hotel Ramblas Internacional for 3 nights. The check-in was quick and straightforward. The room was spacious and the decor was modern, however, the bathroom was in the entrance and smelled musty. The Air Con was not working, which wasn't ideal given the high temperature. We contacted reception and an engineer came to try and fix the problem, but was unsuccessful. I thought the location was great, close to La Rambla, but for the cost of the stay, I didn't think it was worth it.
We stayed 8 days in Hotel Ramblas Internacional and overall had a pleasant experience. The room was clean and comfortable but let down by some minor details. The room lacked coffee/tea facilities and we had to ask reception for plastic cups. Unfortunately, the Wolves Bar was mostly closed, though the barman was very friendly when we used it. The air conditioning was overly cold and difficult to control. It also advertised itself as international, but the TV had only Spanish channels. Although the staff were very nice, the room was expensive for its size at over £200 a night. Despite the issues we had, the staff were very helpful and even gave us a free drink voucher which we were unable to use. All in all, it wasn't a bad stay.
I was very weary of staying here due to the reviews and I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was nice and clean, the beds comfortable and the location is unbeatable! La Ramblas is right outside your window and you can go anywhere from here. La Boqueria, the port, and Pl. Catalunya are all within walking distance; the Metro is also right at your doorstep. The staff was friendly and the check in was quick. We even had a Juliet balcony in our room, which was the perfect place to watch the people go by. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and toiletries, which was a nice touch. All in all, it was a great experience and we will definitely be coming back. Thanks for the great stay!
