Just back from my stay at this one. Been here 4 times and this week was the best. The accommodation has been refurbished since I last stayed in Jan 2020. It is in a prime location, only 3 minutes from the ramblas, 6 minutes from the cathedral, the marina and picasso museum The room was superb, the staff fabulous and I can't wait for my next stay. Almost forgot to mention the breakfast, amazing value but if you drink tea the cups are dainty so you have to get 3 to make a decent drink. Still doesn't take away from the hotel. Been to Barcelona 8 times but for the last 4 we've stayed here and will be back next year. Much appreciation to all the staff Peter .
I stayed at Hotel Rialto for a few nights and it was a great spot centrally located. The room was clean and small, though the air conditioning was difficult to adjust. There were no tea or coffee facilities in the room, and no bar or restaurant. The breakfast was average, but what food there was was cold. The drinks machines ran out of stock quickly. The biggest issue was the security, with random guests opening my door while I was in bed. The reception refused to accept it had happened until I could prove it, which was annoying. All in all it’s a good place to stay for a couple of nights if you don’t want much from the hotel itself.
