ibis Styles Barcelona Centre

We stayed for 6 days and took 2 connecting rooms. Although the rooms are basic (it is a budget hotel after all), we had everything we needed with the 2 bathrooms. There was a great kids corner in the lobby which kept our little ones occupied while we did the check-in. There was also a lovely garden bar within the hotel where you could have a drink or a light meal, which was great. The breakfast was ok and was served in a nice restaurant which overlooked the street. The highlight of this hotel, however, could be found on the top floor - a pool area with sun loungers that overlooked the city. Since it was within walking distance to the beach, we even took a few trips there, and it was really handy being able to find beach equipment in the lobby. All the major tourist attractions in Barcelona were within easy reach - either on foot or via taxi/public transport. Overall, this was a great place to stay and I wouldn't hesitate to come back again.

I was hesitant when I made the reservation, thinking it would be a bit low-end. But boy, was I wrong! Upon arrival, I was welcomed with an early check-in which made me really happy. The room was fantastic, modern, air-conditioned, loaded with water and a comfy bed. The bathroom was great too, with a really powerful shower. Everything was really quiet, no noise from the other rooms. The breakfast was basic but still good. For room service, they had a 3rd party provider that offers great food! It comes in a number of paper boxes that fit together perfectly and the food was really tasty. The reception staff was exceptional, they helped me with taxis and finding my way around the city. And the best part is, it's so close to the all of the local attractions! Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay - the hotel was compact but immaculate! It was in a great location, with a hop on bus stop just 5 minutes away. We were also within 20 minutes of the cruise port, which was convenient. Breakfast was basic, but adequate, and coffee & water were provided near the reception all day. We would definitely stay again!

This centrally located accommodation is a great option for tourists as it is within walking distance of some of Barcelona's lauded sites such as Casa Mila, Casa Batllo, and La Sagrada Familia. It is also close to Verdaguer Metro station, which is only a 5 minute walk away. Furthermore, it is easy to reach from Barcelona El Prat Airport by switching lines at Collblanc. I was very pleased to receive an upgrade to a larger room upon check-in. There is also an extensive breakfast selection available until 11am on weekends. The WiFi was speedy and all the staff I interacted with were polite and spoke English fluently. Additionally, the prices for drinks at the bar were quite reasonable. Although there are roadworks occurring outside the hotel, they wrap up before nightfall so there are no worries regarding noise.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely dedicated and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was nothing short of amazing, with a wide selection of options. I'd like to give special thanks to Joan who was able to extend my stay and help me book a taxi when I needed it. The room itself was spotless and very comfortable.
