I recently stayed for four nights at a hotel that is situated in a great location - its a short walk to Sagrada Familia and just a stone's throw away from Verdaguer metro station. My single room was rather small however, it was perfect for my needs. The breakfast selection was average with a variety of cereal, bread, cold meats and a few hot items. At the moment, there is some construction activity taking place on Avinguda Diagonal but it did not cause an issue. I have been to the hotel three times in total, the last one being shortly before the pandemic was declared. Even then, I was not deterred by a storm that was in progress then. This time, a short thunderstorm happened during my check-in but it did not spoil my stay. All in all, I was pleased with my stay and would certainly book a room here again.
I stayed at ibis Styles Barcelona Centre, and had a great time! The check-in process was a breeze, with the reception staff providing us with an informative map and pointing out the major attractions worth visiting. The room was quite cozy, but the beds were super comfortable. The breakfast was great, offering enough options without being too much. Plus, the hotel was centrally located and only a 20-30 minute walk away from all the "hot spots" and tourist attractions. To top it off, there's an excellent bar/cafe right next door. All in all, I had a fantastic experience at ibis Styles Barcelona Centre.
This hotel was situated in a great location, with plenty of attractions, bars, and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. Although the rooms were on the small side, they were modern and incredibly clean. The only downside was that there was no fridge, but there was a bus stop right outside the door. All in all, a great place to stay.
This hotel was a real blessing. The staff were nothing but friendly and helpful throughout our trip. From the moment we arrived - after missing our flight thanks to Ryanair (#*##*) - the gentleman in reception with beard and glasses was more than accommodating, offering us snacks and coffee. His kindness was not a one-time thing either - all the staff were friendly and eager to offer help. As a hotel worker, I was impressed and heartened by the staff here. Ibis Styles Barcelona Centre is definitely a gem. Highly recommended!
We chose the ibis Barcelona Central as its location was perfect for exploring the city. Not only is it situated very close to the Verdaguer Metro station, but also plenty of restaurants, patisseries, cafes and bars. We were greatful to find a few supermarkets in close vicinity. The hotel managed to combine modern elements with a neat and spacious appearence. The rooms were spacious and cosy, equipped with an easy-to-use air conditioning system and a convenient window for fresh air. However, the best part of our stay was the diligent and friendly staff that were highly professional throughout our stay. We were so impressed that we will be returning and suggest it to anyone looking for a pleasurable stay in Barcelona.
