This centrally located hotel in Barcelona proved to be an excellent choice for our visit. Its prime location allows for easy walking distance to popular attractions such as Casa Battlo, the Cathedral, and Las Ramblas. Though situated near a busy avenue, the hotel itself remains pleasantly quiet. Taxis are conveniently available and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff, including Marti, Pedro, Cecelia, and Belen, were all incredibly friendly and accommodating. The modern and slightly funky vibes add to the overall appeal. Additionally, the on-site restaurant, Mezzo, offers a satisfying menu for breakfast and dinner. However, we did encounter a few challenges during our stay. The room was lacking in electrical outlets, making it difficult to charge our devices. Furthermore, the shower tended to leave the floor outside wet. Despite these minor inconveniences, our experience at this hotel was excellent and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

Our family of four, including two young children aged 4 and 7, had an amazing time during our stay. The location was ideal, just a short walk from casa batllo, casa mila, la rambla, and the main transport links at placa de catalunya, making it a great base for exploring the city. We opted for a family room with bunk beds, which provided enough space for all of us. The only minor issue was the limited wardrobe and hanging space for a family of four, especially when it came to drying wet swimsuits. However, the room and bathroom were nice and clean, although the bathroom may need a touch-up in the near future. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of cleaning our room daily. The communal areas and other facilities were modern, spacious, and well-maintained. One of the highlights was the original retro elevator, which added a charming touch to our experience. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast with a wide selection of options, including made-to-order omelettes, porridge, and pancakes. The staff was incredibly attentive and accommodating, going above and beyond to fulfill our breakfast requests. The same can be said for the front desk staff, who assisted with transportation, recommended places to visit, and provided much-needed support and advice when one of us fell ill with heatstroke. The pool area and bar were also lovely, although the pool itself is on the smaller side, it was perfect for relaxing with young children. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

This accommodation was conveniently situated, with welcoming employees and satisfactory amenities. The morning meal was passable, although the disorganization caused some inconvenience (there were extensive lines for coffee and confusion about how to request certain breakfast items, plus a discernible hierachy among guests!). We had no complaints about our room, although our adolescent children found the bunk bed to be a tad cramped - but overall, it met our needs.

I recently stayed at the ICON Bcn Hotel in Barcelona for the third time and I was impressed with the improvements made since my last visits. The staff was incredibly friendly and polite, the rooms were spotless, and the service was efficient. The breakfast options were vast and delicious. We even had dinner at the hotel and it exceeded our expectations. The location was ideal as we were able to walk to all the popular streets. I highly recommend this hotel and I want to congratulate the entire staff for their hard work. I look forward to my next visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
