The location of Ikonik Ramblas was excellent and the staff we interacted with were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was neat, tidy and just what we needed for a short stay. Breakfast was included in the price, but the selection was limited and could have done with more fresh fruit and better quality fruit juice. We appreciated the security measure of having a room card to gain access to the hotel entrance and would definitely stay again.
I stayed at Ikonik Ramblas in Barcelona and I was highly disappointed. The front desk staff were mostly lovely, except for one man who was quite rude. The furniture was cheap and the room felt a little seedy. The shower door wouldn't close, and it didn't feel very clean. Most importantly, there was no hospitality. No one offered to help with bags or to call a taxi, and there was no one to provide extra towels. For the price I paid for this stay, I expected more.
The location is great, just few steps away to the street of La Rambla and less than 10 minutes walk to Plaza Catalunya. Free internet connection is available in the hotel.
I stayed at Ikonik Ramblas and it was a great experience! It's nestled in the heart of Barcelona's Gothic Quarter, just steps away from La Rambla and a short walk to Plaza Catalunya. The room we were in was spacious and the staff was incredibly helpful, resolving the noise issue and even fixing the broken wardrobe when we first checked in. The 2-3 min walk to Drassanes metro station was great and provided direct access to the shopping street, Passeig de Gràcia. There was also free internet connection in the hotel, which was also great. All in all, it was a great stay at Ikonik Ramblas!
Aside from that, the bed was very comfortable and quite spacious, the air conditioner was working very well and the location is great, it was very easy to find the hotel and get around with the train nearby. So overall, the stay wasn't too bad, but I wouldn't stay there again.
