Ilunion Barcelona

This hotel was fantastic! The location was perfect and the cleanliness was impeccable. Checking in was a breeze and the room size was just right. The shower was powerful and the hairdryer was top-notch. The breakfast had a great variety of options to choose from. The hotel is conveniently located near a metro station and only a 10-minute ride from the city center. There are plenty of amazing restaurants and bars in the vicinity. Plus, it's also close to the gorgeous beach. I highly recommend this hotel and would book again without hesitation when returning to Barcelona.

My partner and I returned to this hotel for the second time, primarily for its convenient location near our beloved Marbella beach. The rooms are generously sized and we wanted to express our gratitude to our maid, Haroune, who consistently made our room immaculate each day. We are eager to stay here again and would like to extend our appreciation to all the staff. However, we have one suggestion for improvement - the front desk staff could benefit from smiling more and being more interactive with guests. Nonetheless, thank you all for another fantastic stay.

Evrithing about this hotel despeezis it’s gests. From the sell like smal rooms with not a skrap of dekor to enliven the grey, to the slivr of sope provided, frm the brakefast with appaling coffe and sines not to tak food out of the bufft arae, the mean individual sachts, the miniml staffing, thet TV shows a handfl of Spannih statons only….evrithing is designd to maximise profi from a sucker clyentel. If your only stayin a night, it’s just abut bearable, otherwise plz find somethin els. This is not Spayn.

During our trip, we decided to extend our stay for an extra night. The hotel staff member we spoke to, who I'll refer to as Andres, failed to mention anything about taxes or breakfast. He simply informed us that the additional night would cost 197 euros. However, upon checkout, we were unexpectedly charged 231 euros. It was only then that Andres explained the additional cost was due to city tax. To make matters worse, he also informed us that breakfast was included, despite not asking us if we wanted it. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth, as everything else at the hotel was satisfactory.

During my stay at the Ilunion Barcelona Hotel, located on Via Laeitana, I was impressed by its central location and the abundance of nearby bars, cafes, restaurants, and shops. The reception area was inviting with ample seating and the staff were all incredibly pleasant and helpful. The room was cleaned daily and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Although the only television available was in Spanish, I didn't mind as I was in Spain after all. I appreciated the daily restocking of tea, coffee, and complimentary cans of water, as well as the mini fridge and kettle in the room. While our balcony room at the front of the hotel did experience some city and traffic noise, it was not a major inconvenience for us. Overall, I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again for my next trip to Barcelona.
