My partner and I stayed for a week at this charmingly located hotel. We were delighted by the range of eateries in the area and all of them we sampled were excellent. The beach was a short stroll away, and the hotel was located away from the bustling hotspots in the south. This accommodation was lovely and its atmosphere was very peaceful.
I had a bad experience staying at this particular hotel. They said kids under 12 were allowed to stay for free if using existing beds, but when I arrived, the receptionist seemed unhappy and made me feel like I was doing something wrong. Later on, he even called our room at 3 AM! Breakfast was included in my booking, but I was too uncomfortable to bring my kids down to eat. The bed was also very uncomfortable and it seemed like there was nothing below it, so it was constantly moving. I paid a lot of money for my stay but it should have only cost me around 125 Euro for two people. Not worth it.
We had a wonderful stay at Ilunion Barcelona Hotel! The breakfast was amazing, with a variety of options so everybody could find something for themselves. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The hotel's location was great - close to the beach, shops, and public transport. Moreover, the rooftop pool was a great additional bonus. All in all, we had an incredible experience and would highly recommend Ilunion Barcelona for a visit to Barcelona!
The place I stayed at had a great spot in the Pablenou area, boasting nice cafes and a beach just a short distance away. Its rooms were okay, though some cosmetic repairs were already due. Guests could also make use of the hotel's small gym and pool on the roof. Everything was tidy and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was of terrible quality and it was not possible to even use messaging apps or watch some video without constant interruptions.
This hotel is in the newer part of Barcelon➕➕. It looks nice and modern in the recc➕➕ion, restaurant and main lobby, but th➕ room➕ are a bit outdated. The??room➕ are spacious but the fittings are very old, no USB points and a manual aircondition. Even the toile?bowl seat is ??yellowish. There?is also a low rumbling noise from the aircon, so light-sleepers be warned??. Wifi? was terrible and unstable, which is very inconvenient if you're trying to do work. ?????
