I stumbled across this hotel while browsing online and typically, I stay in 5 star hotels such as the Four Seasons/St. Regis. This one is centrally located and on a wonderful street full of amazing shops. The staff was really helpful and friendly. The smell of the hotel was wonderful and the rooftop bar was outstanding. Easily one of my top hotels.

We stayed at a hotel in Barcelona recently. The first night, we ended up in a room right next to the service elevator, and were kept up all night by the noise. We weren't able to get any rest, and missed out on an activity we had planned. We didn't have the best experience, to say the least (2 stars). The following two nights were much better, and the hotel itself was actually quite nice (4 stars). It was convenient to both some fancy shopping and dining options. Just be sure to watch out for pickpockets!
This hotel could not be more perfect! The staff are absolutely incredible and the rooms are gorgeous and offer the best in service. The breakfast selection was amazing - one buffet for sweet treats and one for salads, ham, etc. Plus, we could order extra dishes from the menu. On top of all that, the rooftop pool with bar was an absolute delight. It's nice to be in the center of it all with such close proximity to Chanel, Burberry and El Corte Ingles. We cannot wait to come back here again!
We had a delightful stay. Everyone we interacted with at the hotel was attentive, hospitable and kind. The area was ideal, with a myriad of attractions only a short distance away. A 15-minute stroll took us to the Sagrada Familia, while you could barely see the Casa Batlo from the front door. Exploring the city was made easier by being so close to the Cathedral of Barcelona. Breakfast was quite the welcoming way to start each morning. The small roof terrace provided a nice place to relax after a day of sightseeing.
The stunning views from the rooftop bar really make this hotel special. It's a great mix of vintage charm and modern amenities; our room faced away from the street, but the overall location was great and convenient for getting around town. Housekeeping was absolutely perfect – and the turndown service with a complimentary bottle of water was a really nice touch. The food options were average, but there are lots of delicious places to eat nearby. We had the breakfast buffet on our last day and it was quite extensive, even offering gluten-free options. All in all, this was a wonderful stay and we had some great time admiring the views from the rooftop – it was truly magical!
