My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in early November. The suite we stayed in was modern and trendy, with plenty of space for the three of us. The bed was large and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. The breakfast spread was impressive and had a variety of hot and cold options. The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, always willing to assist. We appreciated the flexible breakfast timing, which allowed us to sleep in if desired. The reception staff, including the doorman, were extremely welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. They had great knowledge about the area and provided helpful tips on sightseeing, transportation, and tickets. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to transportation and popular tourist destinations. We would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel. Overall, we truly felt like we were staying in a 5-star accommodation. M and L from Newcastle upon Tyne.
Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this hotel in the future. It was not due to the quality or service during my stay, but rather the unexpected extra charge at checkout. Despite having a conversation with the receptionist earlier in the day about possibly extending my stay, he failed to mention the potential for additional fees if I didn't make a decision and ended up checking out an hour later. This type of unprofessional behavior is not what I would expect from a 5-star hotel, especially when it comes at the cost of losing a loyal customer.
I chose this accommodation for a quick trip and was pleasantly surprised by its central location. Paseo de Gracia, an important transportation hub, is just a short 200m walk away, making it super convenient for travelers. We also appreciated the proximity to Gaudi's famous attractions, Casa Batlló and La Pedrera, Casa Milà. Our Superior Terrace Room provided us with a small, yet quiet and shaded terrace on the ground floor facing a peaceful street. The room itself was cozy, clean, and had a modern feel to it. However, there were a few minor issues with our bill, including unexpected minibar charges. The staff handled it efficiently and promptly, but it left us questioning their charging processes. Despite this, we had a pleasant stay and would consider returning in the future.
? During our stay in Barcelona, we had a ? experience at the hotel. Our room was ? and ✨ with a comfy bed and ? pillows. The staff was ? and ?♂️. However, we were a bit disappointed with the ? star due to the open concept bathroom that is visible from the entryway and bedroom. Additionally, the floor to ceiling window had a film that we thought would provide privacy, but it turned out people on the busy street could see inside our room. ?
We had a six-night stay at this hotel and it was a fantastic experience. We would definitely return in the future. The rooms were well-appointed and even the smaller ones seemed comfortable with a trendy and luxurious vibe. They overlook the bustling streets that meet on the corner as well as a peaceful alley behind. The front desk staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, assisting us with everything from booking taxis to arranging tours. The restaurant served a delicious buffet breakfast with a wide variety of hot and cold options, served with a smile. It also offers dinner service and limited room service. The lobby and restaurant feature a lovely outdoor terrace that wraps around the building, providing a great spot to relax. The lobby bar had a warm and welcoming atmosphere and served tasty drinks. On the rooftop, there is a small pool with a bar for convenience. The clientele mainly consisted of Europeans and Brits, with the staff being fluent in English, Spanish, and possibly Catalan, French, and German. We were expecting a more hipster crowd, but there were also families with older children. While it may not be the most suitable hotel for young kids, the staff were happy to accommodate all guests. The location was perfect for us, with easy access to frequent bus services and various subway stations within a few blocks. It was only a short distance to Passeig de Gracia and a longer walk to La Rambla, which we didn't mind. There were plenty of restaurants, tapas bars, and pedestrian areas nearby, making it a convenient and enjoyable neighborhood to explore.
