I had an amazing time staying at the Ohla Barcelona Hotel in Barcelona! The hotel is conveniently located in the center of town, just a short walk away from the Gothic quarter and the Plaza Cathedral. My 90-year-old mom and I were given a warm welcome by the attentive staff, particularly Zak at the concierge desk. He was especially kind and accommodating to my mom, making sure to make her feel right at home. All our requests were immediately dealt with in a helpful and timely manner. I highly recommend the Ohla Barcelona Hotel, and I am looking forward to staying with them again!

If you’re in Barcelona, you should definitely stay at this hotel. The food is wonderful. We ate here for breakfast and dinner/drinks. The food is not only tasty, the presentation is excellent. The breakfast is a mix of buffet and cooked breakfast favorites, which hit the spot no matter what you’re in the mood for. Dinner and drinks are exquisite. Many of Spain’s classics cooked to perfection and paired with great wine (or cocktails of your choice). Also, the rooftop bar is incredibly relaxing. It has spectacular views of the city and ocean making it the ideal place for a drink or dinner. The biggest differentiator, however, is this hotel‘s staff. They truly make you feel at home. As an example, I had to work during evenings downstairs (kids were sleeping). I cannot tell you how many times staff brought snacks, water, stopped in to check on me, and took time to ensure I was comfortable. I have never felt more at home. In addition, we were traveling with our 2 and 5 year old sons. They are pros at knowing how to make a scene. Not only did the staff not make us feel uncomfortable, they came in and helped play with the boys to distract them and give us a break. It may not sound significant, but for two exhausted parents having flown 11 hours, this was like magic. I cannot speak highly enough about this hotel. Please stay if you have the chance. This is the only hotel I would consider in Barcelona. You will not be disappointed!! Oh and please say hi to Saúl for us - he is the world’s best hotel manager. ….Stayed April 2019
This accommodation was absolutely superb! From the inviting welcome and superb check in experience to the wonderful suites featuring comfortable beds and snug pillows. You could not have asked for better service, nothing was ever too much trouble. We received top-notch restaurant recommendations. The top floor is a must-visit! Serving exquisite cocktails and an amazing view. We can't wait to come back!
Staying at this hotel allows you to really immerse yourself in Barcelona. As soon as you walk out the door you are right in the middle of the city's bustling life - no cars, just people, dogs, pigeons, scooters, eateries and coffee shops. You are sure to be welcomed warmly by the friendly staff at the front office, who will genuinely help you to begin your stay. Even if you arrive earlier than expected, they will make sure you are taken care of - offering complimentary champagne and seating on their rooftop bar to bide the time. The rooms are average-sized, and feature an eye-catching glass shower alcove. Staying here is truly the best way to experience Barcelona.
The location of this hotel is right where you'll want to be - in the heart of the gothic quarter, just a stones throw away from placa catalunya. Our room was spotless and the staff at the reception were pleasant and kind. The included breakfast was more than satisfactory. We had a wonderful experience!
