The Onix Liceo Hotel in Barcelona is situated in an area with boarded up houses, graffiti, and people sleeping in doorways. The hotel itself is basic and has no attractive qualities. The rooms are poorly furnished with small, thin towels and a sliver of soap – on par with the cheapest of hostels and without any redeeming features. One could not find many positives with this hotel.
This hotel was a great find! The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were spotless. The terrace was an ideal place for enjoying a bit of peace and quiet before and after dinner. There is some noise from the bustling neighbourhood, but the wonderful facilities more than made up for it. Plus, there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. El Raval is especially lively and buzzing with activity.
This place was really great! ? The interiors were modern and sparkling clean ?, which made it really comfortable. The location was so convenient for us, it was only a short walk away from restaurants, stores and other places. Even though the street in front was pretty busy ? and there was a bit of ?️ around, it was kind of like that for many streets we visited in Barcelona. We only spent one night here but it definitely met our needs!
This hotel was absolutely wonderful! The friendly staff, ideal location (right next to Las Ramblas), and overall enjoyable experience definitely made it worth the stay. The room was spotless and featured air conditioning, plus there was a nice little space for storing rented bikes. A pool was also available outside. The only downside was the lack of breakfast, but luckily, there were plenty of places to eat nearby. All in all, a great hotel for a visit to Barcelona, and very affordable to boot!
What was also great about this hotel is the location- its close to the seaside and all the main attractions. All in all, this place is a great place to stay and I highly recommend it!
We just came back from Barcelona and we had a wonderful time staying at Onix Liceo. The hotel was a great price for the five days and exceeded our expectations. We were warmly welcomed at the front desk, even though it was late, and check-in was a breeze. Our room was spotless with no signs of wear or tear. The bathroom was also sparkling clean and well maintained. The towels provided were luxuriously soft, and the daily cleaning service was fantastic. Location-wise, the hotel was close to the beach and other main attractions. All in all, we had a wonderful stay at Onix Liceo and we highly recommend it!
