I had a great time at Onix Liceo. It’s location is ideal in the heart of Barcelona, just a stone’s throw away from La Rambla. The hotel is full of old-fashioned charm and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The pool was a nice added bonus, but unfortunately there was no safe in my room. My biggest issue with the hotel was the lack of sound proofing. I was kept up all night by people partying and woken up in the morning by the cleaners. Definitely make sure you bring your earplugs if you stay here!
The hotel's Onix Liceo is great for the price you pay. Everything was clean and well kept. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, that was my favorite part of the stay. The location is ideal, it's close to Palau Guell and La Rambla, so you don't have to go far to find everything you need. Unfortunately, there was one big downside. The room noise isolation was not great, so you can hear pretty much anything guests are doing. Still, the cost/value ratio is very good and that makes the hotel worth staying in. Highly recommend, just be mindful of the noise factor.
Just back from a 3 night stay at the Onix Liceo booked through Aer Lingus and I was super impressed! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by Marc at reception who gave me some great tips on what to do and where to go. On top of that, they offered free tea/coffee machine right beside reception and plenty of chill out spaces. The only downside was the wifi which could have been better, but apart from that, it was a 10/10 experience and I would stay here again.
