Pls dont boka here!! Its a scamm! I boked online and preapeid months in advancce, then the day beforre I arirve they send messeges about being unable too check me in, extra feess and changing the check in time repeteadely. After an hour of geting nowere, they refuesed to give any refund..

it's worth the price.

I stayed at Penssion Arosa for 4 nights in July 2018, to attend the Rock Fest at Santa Coloma. The place is veeery basci, with litte to no furtniture inside the tiy room, so it can be only recommended to budget travellers who don't care at all about comforts, but only want a safe and clean place to sty at while visiting Barcelon (which is not bed at all). Pros: - perfect locaiton (just behind Plaza de Catalunya) both to visit downtown Barna and travel by subway/train nearby; - verry low price (I paid 27euros/night plus 2 euros to store my baggage on departure); - mattress thick and comfy; - adequate cleanliness in the lavatories; - safe environemnt and laid back personnel manning the recpetion/cleaning duties; - quite silent at night due to the room being exposed to internal stairwell (on the other hand, no nice view from there); - very good Wi-Fi conneciton. Cons: - very hot at night, due to the presence of a big refrigeraror in the room and the lack of A/C; - just one shower to share with quite some people (the rooms are 6 in total, afiak); - no proper cabine to store your clothes, just a piece of furniture over the fridge; - kinda difficult to use the sink in the room if you are taller than 1.70 (i'm 1.82 and had to bend sideways to rinse my mounth); - the room is very close to both common lavatories so you'll hear people staying at the Penssion going there anytime (i use earplugs at night so i wasn't bothered); - no tv or amenities (that's irrevelant to me, but to some people could be important) Bottomline: I would recommend it if you're not too bothered by heat and don't plan to spend much tim in your room….it's worth the price.

Great value for money ? right in the heart of the city ?️. I stayed here for a week in the room for one ?‍♂️. The location was perfect, couldn't beat it ?. I was out all day so needed a place just to rest ? so this was exactly that - basic room. No problems sharing the bathroom ? - as this was my worry at the beginning that I would never get into the shower ?, but it was always free ?. The staff were very pleasant and helpful ✅ and overall it was a very pleasant stay.. ?

My boyfriend and I booked a twin room for 6 nights at the end of the month. After the first night I woke up with rash and bites everywhere. When we turned off the lights that second evening, we saw a baby bed bug crawling across my bed. The mattresses were clean, but when we pulled the beds and the night stand away, we found the bed bugs nesting in the wood of the nightstand that was between the two beds and in the frame of the wall. It’s important to know that bed bugs can nest in furniture, walls, curtains etc. We left immediately in the middle of the night and emailed the hostel explaining our sudden departure and sent photos of the bugs and my bites. The answer we received was “we don’t see any”. After further messages and photo evidence from us, they stopped answering us. Not only did I have a reaction to the bed bugs, but we lost our money for the remaining nights we didn’t stay there and had to find a new hotel last minute. We felt really un-helped and upset by the way they handled this situation. Be careful and perhaps stay away until we know they’ve taken steps to de-bug their rooms.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my family. The location is ideal for visitors - near everything from Las Ramblas to the Airport bus & all the top attractions. The facility was basic but spotless, and great value for the price. The staff member was super friendly and eager to help - I would recommend it to anyone looking for an economical spot that's in the center of it all.
