Praktik Rambla

Stepping off La Rambla, this place is a tranquil sanctuary from the bustle of the city. In advance of our visit, the hotel staff gave us clear instructions on how to get there from the airport, and even kept our luggage for us until check-in. Unfortunately, our room turned out to have some issues, but the staff managed to find us a suite the very next day. An extra bonus is that booking directly is cheaper, with free cancellation policy - so it’s worth considering. The suite was lovely but naturally noisier compared to other rooms, though the combination of shutters did help to muffle the sound. Breakfast was great - fresh plain and chocolate croissants, and the hot chocolate was one of the best I’ve tried. Do be aware though that the first bottle of water is free and any others have to be paid for. Lastly, a special mention to the two receptionists - they proved to be an absolute pleasure, always helpful, friendly and polite. All in all, I’d stay here again without hesitation.

I stayed in Praktik Rambla and loved it! The central location was great, making it easy to explore the city. The building had a lot of charm, and our triple room was extremely comfortable. We even had a balcony overlooking Rambla Catalunya, with a beautiful view (see photo!). Despite being on a very busy street, the room was surprisingly quiet, allowing us to get a good night's sleep. In the morning, they served croissants and coffee as a courtesy, and there was a nice terrace for breakfast. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place to stay in Barcelona!

We had a wonderful stay at Praktik Rambla. The twin deluxe room on the upper floor was great, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony with a view of the patio. The insulation of the windows was only partially successful, so it is advisable to bring earplugs or a sound machine with you. We had to endure some construction noise next door, but that was bearable as we didn’t spend much time in the room. One night there was a party going on and the music was very loud. We were glad to have easy access to free coffee and croissants, which were surprisingly good. The staff at the reception were always friendly, helpful and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Overall I had a pleasant stay, but there are quite a few areas of improvement. Booked this hotel based on the positive reviews. Pros: Good location, easy to get to city and from airport. Big comfortable bed. Nice croissants for breakfast. Cons: No blackout curtains. My room overlooked the street and while I could sleep, it was just not a great sleeping experience due to the lack of curtains. Noise was manageable but can still be heard. HVAC controls don't seem to work that well and fan was quite loud. No tissues in the bathroom. Bathroom fan is very noisy. For the price of 200€/night, I must admit I'm not sure if I would stay here again.

I recently stayed at the lovely Praktik Rambla and I was thoroughly impressed! The room was incredibly spacious and the staff at the reception desk were extremely helpful and friendly. In particular, I'd like to give a special shout out to Abira for taking the time to answer all my questions. I also really enjoyed the coffee. In short, I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and cozy place to stay. Thanks Praktik Rambla!
