This hotel has become my go-to choice whenever I visit Barcelona to watch FC Barcelona play. While it may only have a one-star rating, the location is unbeatable - right on La Ramblas with easy access to bars, restaurants, and public transportation. The room itself is simple, with only two sockets (one in the bathroom and a small extension hanging from the TV) so I suggest bringing an extension cord. However, it is always spotless and the towels are changed daily. The shower is great and the beds are comfortable. Storage is adequate for a weekend stay, with a cupboard and wardrobe. Some rooms have a view of Placa but it's a matter of luck or paying extra. Breakfast is provided from 8am to 10am and includes croissants, bread rolls, fresh orange juice, and a coffee/hot chocolate machine. My only complaint is that they don't offer any spreads for the rolls. Check-in is at 3pm and check-out at 11am, and the small lift may be difficult for those with mobility issues. The staff are helpful and there is now a bar and restaurant next door. Overall, for a clean and safe basic hotel, I highly recommend it.

This economical hotel offers a great level of comfort and convenience. During our 3-night stay, our room was sparkling clean and pleasant to be in. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The location in Plaça Reial was wonderful, always abuzz with energy. Our only slight issue was the sound of the early morning buzz, which my wife was particularly sensitive to. I had no trouble sleeping. Breakfast consisted of simple but delicious offerings such as bread, croissants, cereal, cake, coffee, and juice. We would highly recommend this place.
Tahir was an exceptional server, very attentive and welcoming. The food at the restaurant was scrumptious and sizeable portions. He provided helpful tips on things to do around the city as we were sightseeing. We would certainly return to the restaurant.
The rooms are spic and span, nicely decorated and do exactly what they advertise. The staff members are friendly and accommodating and the morning meal is more than satisfying. If you are looking for an affordable yet central hotel, this one is a great choice.
