I stayed at a hotel for 4 nights with my family, including a 1.5 year old baby. Before arriving at the hotel, I called the reception to ensure that I would be provided with a suitable room for our needs. Luckily, I was given a larger room which allowed us to relax with our baby. The hotel location was great, close to every amenity and tourist spot. There was one person in particular that stood out, Ruth from the reception who was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We are very grateful for the assistance.

My friends and I were on a hen do in the lobby, the receptionist was incredibly impolite and disrespectful, telling us to be quiet whilst we were simply chatting. Being exceptionally disrespectful after we had been to the rooftop eatery, which was wonderful. The rooftop staff were so friendly, such a pity that the lady at the front counter completely destroyed our experience. Didn't catch her name, but the lady with red curly hair on 8th July around 3pm. ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTED..

The rooms were much too dark and dim for any sort of activity that requires decent lighting, such as getting ready or using a mirror. With black walls and terrible lighting, the space came off as quite small. There was no natural light since the window only faced the inside of the building. Surprisingly, the sink was situated outside the bathroom - something I have never seen before. Replenishing the shower gel for the past few days was a problem. Although it was stuck to the walls, it never got refilled despite us complaining. As for the bathroom, it would benefit from having some hooks for hanging clothes. Furthermore, we had requested for twin beds yet they were placed together, necessitating us to move them around. Unfortunately, upon return from our daily trips the beds were pushed together, requiring us to push them apart yet again. For a 4-star establishment, it was odd not to be provided with flannels or facial tissues. Lastly, the staff was abrupt while we were checking out - she could have been more polite.

This hotel is in the perfect location for sightseeing and shopping. The train from the airport is just a two minute walk away. There are plenty of shops ranging from high street to designer. The hotel itself is stylishly designed with a pool and roof bar. The staff were outstanding: helpful, efficient, and friendly. We had booked a double and a twin room, which was upgraded to a double with balcony—it was huge with a small balcony boasting views of Gaudi’s Casa Batlló only two minutes away. Both rooms were very clean, with a reasonably-priced mini bar and free tea and coffee making facilities available. I could not find a single fault with my stay and would highly recommend it.

We recently stayed at this hotel and it was a great experience. From the moment we arrived we received excellent support and care. Mariona, who worked at the reception, was a highlight for us and her helpful advice made our short stay even more enjoyable.
