Room Mate Anna

The service at this hotel left much to be desired ?‍♂️. When we asked for a wine opener around 10 pm, after a lengthy search, the staff told us they would bring it in 10 minutes. After 30 minutes of waiting, we returned to reception only to be told they didn't have one ?. Furthermore, the cleaning in the rooms was far from satisfactory ?. We found our Airpods under the bed, even though we had certainly left them on the charger. The floor in the room and bathroom were stained ?. The breakfast was ok but it lacked in fruit and vegetables ?, which isn't what you'd expect from a 4* hotel. We wish we hadn't booked 6 nights in this place ?‍♀️. We won't be staying here again ?.

I highly recommend Room Mate Anna for its perfect location in the centre of Barcelona. It's only a 5 minute walk from Plaça Catalunya and 10 from La Rambla, with the district of Gràcia also within walking distance. The Passeig de Gràcia metro and regional train station is just next door, which makes getting around to places like Sitges, Tarragona, and the airport very convenient. The hotel is great for anyone who wants a comfortable stay with plenty of amenities and the convenience of being in the heart of the city. The hotel staff are warm and accommodating, always willing to help with anything you need. Overall, Room Mate Anna is an excellent choice for a stay in Barcelona and one I would gladly recommend to anyone visiting the city.

I stayed at the Room Mate Anna recently and I had mixed feelings. On one hand, it was in a great location and very easy to access, but on the other hand, it wasn't very clean. I found a broken glass in my bed which cut my heel! The floor was stained and didn't seem to have been cleaned in a while, and the shower had a difficult time keeping the water temperature consistent, alternating between too hot and too cold. The rooms are quite small, so the sink was located right next to the bed instead of in the bathroom. Despite the small issues, the staff was lovely and helpful.

I am really pleased to have chosen Room Mate Anna for my stay in Barcelona. The staff were welcoming and very helpful in showing me around the area, as well as giving tips on places to visit. Located in a prime area, very close to the train station as well as Gaudi’s Casa Batllo, there are plenty of opportunities to explore the city. The balcony view was simply stunning, and could see the cityscape right from the comfort of my room. The bed was very comfortable, and the hot water pressure and temperature were just perfect when needing a hot shower after a long day. Unfortunately, the floor tiles were stained, but overall it was a good experience for a solo traveler. I would highly recommend Room Mate Anna for a stay in Barcelona and I look forward to returning in the future.

Room Mate Anna is a great hotel for a visit to Barcelona. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and have all the necessary amenities. The rooftop bar is amazing, with a great view of the city. The hotel is conveniently located close to Gaudi landmarks and the city centre, and just a few steps away from the shops in the main shopping mall. There are also great bars all around the area, giving you plenty of options for nights out. Highly recommended!
