The 987 Barcelona hotel is ideally located to visit Barcelona, within 10 minute walk to la Sagrada Familia, with close by metro station, and close to shopping area of Passeig de Gracia.The breakfast buffet is great, with a lot of choice and quite tasty.The hotel and the rooms are nicely decorated, with a great color scheme.

My wife and I paid a visit to this place a few weeks ago and it was amazing. After a brief wait, we were able to enter our room earlier than expected and freshen up before exploring Barcelona. This place had one of the best breakfast experiences I have ever had, with a large selection of items to choose from. The staff were very friendly and helpful; not to mention the great location - within 15-20 minutes walking distance from so many spots, such as Casa Mila - A Gaudi House - that is just up the street near Mallorca. There are also various eateries and pubs nearby. We did notice some external construction but it didn't impede our stay. If I have one suggestion for the staff, the area rug of room 508 should be given a deep clean or replaced. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful time and I highly recommend this hotel!
Room Mate Carla is definitely worth a visit.
Excellent location and good quality hotel. Rooms were well kept and hotel was clean at all times. There is also a very nice courtyard which is a great place to relax. It's very close to a lot of the major attractions in the area, with Placa Cataluyna just a short walk away. The restaurants nearby are excellent and you'll have plenty of choices. This hotel is highly recommended.
still not with that balcony we had requested, but it was a much better room. The decor was basic, but everything was clean and it was quite comfortable. The staff were friendly, and always answered promptly when we asked for something. The location is also excellent, right in the city centre and close to the main train station and many attractions. We had an enjoyable stay overall, but felt the ‘upgrade’ was not much of an upgrade and the receptionist didn’t seem willing to help resolve the situation.
We had such a great time at Room Mate Carla! It's in a great location and the atmosphere was really fun. Our room was very clean and well kept. They even provided plenty of closet space which was great. The paint job could use a little updating in some parts, like on the wall near the luggage rack and bathroom vanity, but it was not a deal breaker for us. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. On top of that, the bed was so comfortable and the view from the balcony was magnificent. Highly recommended!
The receptionist very friendly and easy to communicate with, they always help us when we need something . The breakfast was really delicious and the room cleaned everyday .
Although the sink in the bathroom was rusty and the towels old, the bed was comfortable and the location was great - we could walk to everywhere, without needing to take taxis. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and helpful whenever we had a query, and the breakfast was delicious. The room was cleaned every day and the check-in/out processes were simple and smooth. The only downside was that the wifi didn't work the whole time, and the safety box didn't work - no one seemed able to fix it. Nevertheless, overall I'd recommend Room Mate Carla for a pleasant stay.
