The chain of hotels Room Mate has an excellent reputation. Room Mate Pau is the perfect example of that. One three stars marvelously located well in city centre - close to Plaza Catalunya - which will enable you to discover Barcelona by walking. We love the ultramodern wooden decoration with white and gray surfaces and some beautiful objects where one feels immediately at ease.
Small but really comfortable rooms and most of all a remarkable terrace perfect to have a drink and some rest after a hard day discovering the city!

This hotel was great! The room was comfortable and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The air-conditioning was essential given the heat of Barcelona and it worked perfectly. It was conveniently located in the very center and only a 2 minute walk away from La Rambla street. The staff were friendly and helpful.
This hotel in the middle of Barcelona is located near Placa Catalunya and offers a fabulous experience. The staff was incredibly hospitable and gave us an executive room with a balcony overlooking the side street. The room was huge with a walk-in-shower, fridge, and safe. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the lounge area where we could get capuccino, espresso, cortado and other fancy coffee drinks all day. This hotel is conveniently located next to the city's major tour buses, public buses, metro stations, Las Ramblas, and Corte Ingles. Whenever I come back to Barcelona, this is where I'll be staying.
This hotel is definitely ?. I felt totally at home, with the ? modern design, ?️ comfortable beds, and ? pleasant staff. The location next to Plaça de Catalunya is ?, making it very easy to explore the city. I had all the amenities I need ?, and the room was ?clean and inviting. Highly recommend it!

From the moment you walk in you feel welcomed. We arrived early and Leandro had a great lunch recommendation to occupy us while the room was being prepared. Everyone at the front desk went out of their way to help us recover our lost bag! Breakfast was not only delicious, but beautifully presented. The staff seem to enjoy working here, with Rolando taking meticulous care when it comes to cleaning the coffee machine. We have stayed in four different towns/hotels, but Room Mate Pau had the most comfortable bed by far. The location is ideal; we were exactly where we wanted to be and close to many great restaurants. We are so glad to have found this gem!
Our stay was simply incredible. We were offered a higher-category room upon check-in, and not only was it bigger but also had a balcony. The beds were comfortable and the entire room was equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast was extraordinary. My friend was on a gluten-free diet and the staff went out of their way to freshly bake pastries for her. The food selection was wonderful and changed daily. It truly made for an amazing start of the day. We were so thankful for the hospitality of the staff, they were incredible. The hotel's location couldn't have been better as it was just a few steps from Piazza Catalunya, the airport bus stop and the metro. It was also just around the corner from La Rambla.
