The chain of hotels Room Mate has an excellent reputation. Room Mate Pau is the perfect example of that. One three stars marvelously located well in city centre - close to Plaza Catalunya - which will enable you to discover Barcelona by walking. We love the ultramodern wooden decoration with white and gray surfaces and some beautiful objects where one feels immediately at ease.
Small but really comfortable rooms and most of all a remarkable terrace perfect to have a drink and some rest after a hard day discovering the city!

I recently stayed at Room Mate Pau while visiting Barcelona and it definitely didn't disappoint. My stay was absolutely wonderful and I was really impressed with the overall level of service and hospitality. The hotel was situated in a convenient spot in the city center and I was never far from amenities. The first thing I noticed upon entering the hotel was the "less is more" approach which, at first, I wasn't sure about - but it quickly grew on me. Every request I made was fulfilled quickly and with great attention to detail- from the friendly reception and helpful staff to the array of pleasant surprises like the complimentary birthday cake! Room Mate Pau was definitely one of the best city break hotels I've stayed at.
We stayed at the Room Mate Pau and it was an incredible experience. The location couldn't be better - it's close to all the attractions and landmarks, and the neighborhood is vibrant and exciting. The rooms were small but had all the amenities we needed, and the bathroom was clean and comfortable. But it was the staff that really made our stay so wonderful - Cecilia, Leonardo, and Alexandro (not sure how to spell his name) were all so welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, too. We had such a great time at Room Mate Pau and we'll definitely be coming back on our next visit!
This hotel was a great find! Room Mate Pau is nicely situated right in the middle of the city, and the Aerobus, Metro and other buses are just a few minutes away. The staff is friendly, helpful and attentive, and the rooms are spotless. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the lighting in the room really set a romantic mood. We would definitely stay here again if we ever come back!
I stayed at Room Mate Pau for a week and the experience was fantastic! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the location was superb and the rooms were spotless. The breakfast was great with plenty of options, and while there wasn't a lot of hot food available, there were still some tasty options. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in a great location.
