I had an awful experience with this accommodation. I booked it and then received an email saying that the costs were much higher than expected, so I cancelled it straight away. I was still charged the full amount despite my objection and they refused to give me a refund, even though I had cancelled immediately due to being provided with misinformation about the rates.
This accommodation had a great location, however the cleanliness was terribly poor and many facilities were not working well. The shower was like those in prison cells. I had no intention of returning here and the prospect of spending time here with girls was not possible. The breakfast offered was also quite unappetising. I found it particularly odd that I was asked to pay to have my backpack held for an hour while I went to find a decent breakfast. This was something I had never experienced before.
I disliked my stay at this hotel. The elevator was broken, so I had to carry my 20+ kg of luggage up 5 flights of stairs and had to walk up 5 flights every time I went out to get back to my room. Further, my key card stopped working twice, so I had climb up and down a total of 10 flights of stairs to get it fixed. The bathrooms were very dirty and smelly. There was also a very creepy elderly man in the room, making advances to guests and displeasingly masturbating.... I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
Unsafestay, more like mostunsafestay. A man lay in the centre of our room with his hand were the sun dont shine. Dare I need to say more. This only got more intence. Encouraged by friendly Aussies, we told recepetion that we can barly enter our room becuse of what he’s doin. The recepetionist qite frankly needs a diffrent job (eg. not workin with people) as his solution to this problem was to try and move half of us girl’s to a diffrent room, leaving just one with this doddy man. Well done very cleaver.

I posted my review in Google some months ago but I had to contribute to Tripadvisor with my experience ruined thanks to the lack of help or assistance during my short stay. I decided to reserve a bunkbed in a shared room. It had 12 beds or so. I was robbed. My deepest disappointment arrived when I tried to reach anyone in management but only one guy in reception seemed to be worried about despite being quite rude and stressed. I asked him to speak with the front desk manager and he ran up to his office. Few minutes later he came back and told me that he was not in the hostel yet. I simply wanted someone to take care of my situation. Deluded. The worst thing comes now, when I came back to pick a friend she told me, as she also asked in the bar who the manager was, the waitress pointed to a person, just coming into the bar carrying their backpack. They lied to me affirming that no responsible was on duty at that time when I needed assistance. That proves that guests are not a priority for them when it is an urgent and serious matter such as being robbed in the hostel itself. I was not claiming for a special treatment, though a simple direct meeting with the front desk manager, even telling me lies like we are going to help you with the police report, would have worked. Lack of professional attitude. Sorry to write this but AVOID this hostel…you can find better ones.
