During my recent trip to Barcelona, things took a turn for the worse on the second last day. I had come to the city to attend my best friend's wedding and was looking forward to making happy memories. However, I was left shocked and disgusted when I discovered that someone had broken into my room and stolen all of my belongings, including my passport. It's terrifying to think that this could have happened while I was asleep. This security breach is a serious issue and it's concerning that the hotel did not have stronger measures in place to protect its guests. I hope that by sharing my experience, it will bring attention to the security issues at this hotel and encourage them to make improvements for the safety and well-being of their guests. As a paying guest, I trusted the hotel with my personal belongings and my safety, but they failed to keep me and my belongings safe. This not only caused financial stress as I had to spend the rest of my trip replacing my stolen items and getting a provisional passport, but it also took a toll on my mental health. It's disappointing that the hotel is not compensating me for the £2k worth of stolen items. Overall, my stay at this hotel was a very stressful and costly experience.
The location of this place was perfect for our short stay in Barcelona. We were close to the metro, which made exploring the city easier. In addition, we were allowed to leave our bags before check-in time. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. Our room was spotless, however, it was incredibly tiny. The bathroom decor was a bit peculiar, as it had a glass-type door and the walls at the top of the bathroom were also clear, making us wonder if there was a partition between the room and bathroom. The facilities were good, but one must be careful in the shower because it can get quite slippery. If our stay was longer, the small size of the room would have been a problem. There was a nice welcome gift in the room consisting of two chocolates - a nice touch. We did not have breakfast so we cannot comment on that.
This hotel's breakfast is to die for! ? The lady who organises it is truly amazing ?and the hotel itself is located 15min away from the main attractions. Around the area, you can easily find tons of places to eat and drink ☕️. Although the receptionists couldn't help me out with booking tickets, since my data roaming didn't work, the key to my door was faulty ??♀️. One advice: if you need to buy water, go to the supermarket in the next street instead of paying a 600% markup at the hotel ?. Plus, don't forget to book the breakfast through the website if you want to get it for only 10€ ?.
This hotel was great for a business trip! The breakfast buffet was amazingly delicious, and it was really easy to get from there to the city centre by bus or metro. The reception team was very welcoming, and the cleaning service was spotless- I would definitely go back!
This accommodation was conveniently located within walking distance to the Sagrada Familia, and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was enjoyable, and there were some great nearby restaurants and eateries. We had a mouthwatering pizza from a neighbouring restaurant that was surprisingly economical. The room was small but immaculate.
