have to climb over the basin to use the toilet, this is very difficult if you are on the tall side. The breakfast was also very poor, nothing fresh and what little was available was cold and unappetising. I would definitely not recommend staying in this hotel.
I would definitely recommend Sunotel Aston to other tourists. The location is great, close to the Metro station, so it is easy and cheap to get around the city. Breakfast is optional, although there are local cafes, restaurants and other places nearby. The room was clean and comfortable, and was made up fresh every day. There is Spanish TV in the room, however, there wasn't any tea or coffee provided. All in all, Sunotel Aston did exactly what it said it would, and I would definitely stay here again if I come back to town.
This stay was great! The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good with plenty of options and the staff were helpful. The only downside was that the temperature in the room was stiflingly hot, even with the air con and windows open. The lighting could have been better too. But all in all, it was great! The area was bustling with restaurants, bars and transport links. All you have to do is make sure you know where you're going!

We stayed at Sunotel Aston for a week to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The price was in our budget and all we needed was a comfortable place to sleep. Unfortunately, the room we were given was equipped with old, broken and mismatched furniture. Even though the cost was only 150 Canadian a night, the condition of the room was still quite disappointing. The worst part was the toilet was not securely attached to the floor, and there was still content on the shower walls from the previous guests. To make matters worse, on our second day the power in the room went out and there was no light, no air conditioning and the slot for the room card was broken. When I went to the front desk, their response was simply "sorry no power". Overall, it was an unpleasant experience.
