Vincci Mae

Despite the advertised check out time limit of 11am, I was forced to leave my room at 9am for it to be cleaned. I am extremely unhappy with this service and I don't think I will be staying here again. I have never had such a bad experience before. This should be rectified.

I spent 3 nights during the F1 grand Prix weekend at this accommodation, and I was very pleased. The staff was incredibly friendly and had lots of helpful advice about how best to explore the city. The room was great with air conditioning that was powerful and quiet. I also enjoyed the shower and comfortable bed. I had breakfast there one day and it was satisfactory. Though I would recommend seeking out eating spots that the local people frequent. The roof terrace was amazing with a small plunge pool that was a great sun-filled spot. All in all, this 4-star hotel was a great value for the money and only a 15-minute stroll away from the metro, which can take you to other parts of Barcelona in another 20 minutes. The staff can also give advice about bus routes, as there are several stops nearby.

The room was perfection! Spacious, extremely clean and lovely decorated. It was obvious the amount of effort that had gone into it! The shower was truly incredible and the staff were helpful when I had queries. The area is great too, with plenty of coffee shops, bakeries and more authentic restaurants around. The one downside was the lack of common areas for guests to unwind for free. There are two rooftop terraces owned by the restaurant and I didn't know that when I ate my own food there and had to leave. It would be nice if one terrace was for the restaurant and the other could be used by other guests. There are no free common areas to relax in, which I'd expect from a 4-star hotel. That aside, the room, staff, decoration and spot were all excellent!

My partner and I stayed at Vincci Mae on our recent holiday to Barcelona. We stayed for 6 nights and were in the city to celebrate our anniversary. Location wise, this hotel could not have been any better for us -- it took us just 30 minutes at a leisurely walk to reach the iconic Sagrada Familia, plus it was close to a stop for the tourist bus routes. The area was filled with plenty of restaurants and bars, and it was far enough from the busier parts of the city for us to feel peace and quiet. We did have a bit of construction work going on next door and an unfortunate guest above us who seemed to enjoy walking around wearing heavy boots. Aside from these minor issues, we had a wonderful stay and I’d highly recommend Vincci Mae to anyone. The staff were very helpful, and the comforts you expect from a 4* hotel were all provided.

I recently stayed at Vincci Mae and was overall pleased. The hotel is located in the financial district which was ideal for my business trip. The front desk staff was knowledgeable and courteous and answered all my questions. I left a shoe behind by accident and I was surprised to find out that it was safely packed up for me and sent back to my home in the US. I also enjoyed the small but pleasant swimming pool. The restaurant was also really nice, although it wasn't particularly busy during my stay. All in all, I had a great experience even though it was a 5 star hotel.
