We had a really great trip to Barcelona recently and were so pleased with the hotel. The service was outstanding and the staff couldn't do enough for us; it was top-notch! We also loved the 'wine-o'-clock' at 7 pm each evening, where we could chat with other guests over a glass being topped up regularly. The room wasn't huge, but it was sufficient and we were glad to find that my wife had great lighting for putting on her make-up. The location was great too, situated at the top of La Rambla, with a bus stop for the beach right outside. We could go on and on, but the hotel was the perfect place to stay and made for a really relaxed atmosphere. We would highly recommend it!
I was recommended this accommodation by my brother and sister in law. They said it was great, but it was even better than that! I would rate it a 12 out of 10 for its customer service alone. Shout out to Gloria, Mila, Anna and Alex who were all incredibly helpful. The location is unbeatable, right on the Las Ramblas and close to Plaça Catalunya. The rooms, admittedly on the small side, are very well-appointed and the bed and bedding are comfortable. We were fortunate to get a room with a balcony overlooking Las Ramblas. Gloria pointed us in the direction of the gothic quarter for a nice walk, and Mila recommended a superb tapas restaurant called Bar Locos. Meanwhile, Alex was able to book us on a tour of the wonderful Sagrada Familia and the home of Gaudi, La Pedrera. Anna also tipped us off to some great tapas restaurants in the gothic quarter. To top it all off, Wine ? O'Clock - complimentary wine on the roof top patio - was a very nice bonus. We had a truly wonderful experience in Barcelona, and the customer service was second to none. To those complaining about the size of the rooms and the closet space - don't expect American-size rooms in Europe - book the Meridian or Iberostar if that's your need. We both would return to this hotel in a heartbeat ?!
The Yurbban Ramblas Boutique Hotel is truly remarkable! Although it isn't a 5-star hotel, its customer care is unlike anything we have experienced throughout our travels worldwide. They take their slogan "just ask and we will help" seriously, from greeting us at check-in to recommending restaurants and assisting us when our Spanish tour operator let us down. We stayed in the Superior Double Room (22) and were delighted to have two balconies overlooking Las Ramblas. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the air con was great, and the bathroom was modern with a rainfall shower and complimentary bottled water. The generous breakfast buffet included hot and cold options, from eggs to Catalan sausage, to Iberico ham, and even avocado on toast with a poached egg. The rooftop bar had stunning views and was incredibly cozy and relaxing. The honest bar meant that guests could serve themselves and the hotel hosts a Wine o'clock every evening, offering complimentary wine, Catalan sausage, and other snacks. But what sets this hotel apart is the staff, they were so friendly and accommodating, we owe Alex and Xavier a huge thank you for making our stay so special. We had an unforgettable experience at the Yurbban Ramblas Boutique Hotel and look forward to returning soon. Moltes gràcies!
We stayed here for 3 nights and would 100% recommend it. It's conveniently located by the Metro station, at the beginning of a famous promenade. The room was spotless and very cozy; the honesty bar on the rooftop was a great spot to relax and the “wine o’clock” service each night was a great touch. The staff was what made the stay truly exceptional though - they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time, booking tickets for attractions, recommending restaurants and were even a pleasure to chat to. We will definitely be back!
I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely boutique hotel for three nights during a business trip. Its location is absolutely unbeatable - only a stone's throw away from both Plaza de Catalunya and the old quarter, with La Bukeria market just a few minutes away. The place is tastefully decorated and the staff are so friendly and helpful, making for a very welcoming atmosphere. The standard single room is a bit small but if you're able, try to upgrade to the next level for some extra space. The shower was immaculate, with hot water and good pressure, while the double glazed doors blocked out the hustle and bustle of the city. I was also delighted to find fresh bottled water refilled daily and a sleek black tea set. There's plenty of restaurants and takeaways to choose from nearby and plenty open until late. Highly recommended!
