Yurbban Ramblas you have made us very happy.

My partner found a boutique hotel through Trip Avisor for our first trip abroad since Covid and my first time back to Barcelona in 50 years. His choice was brilliant. From our compact third floor balcony over looking Las Ramblas, the grassy promdenade that runs down the heart of this lively endlessly fascinating city, I felt like we had a window on the best of Barcelona and in the unfailngly friendliness of the staff met some of that personalism up close. Particularly grateful for the quiet professionalism and graciousness of desk manager Alex Gallarza and his colleagues who handled every need and request we made with competence. Need a way to charge your computer and cell phone but forgot to bring a Spanish adaptor? No problem, here use this during your stay. Trying to figure out how to visit Montserrat? Here let me write that down for you. Finally there is a full Spanish breakfast in a sun-flooded breakfast room and a roof top terrace with blooming oleander and flowers that is a lovely spot for a pre-dinner cocktail or a mid morning cuppa. You will find a brilliantly comfortable modern design for the rooms in an elegant 19th C building. They have made us very happy.

My stay at this boutique hotel was nothing short of fantastic. The team at reception was incredibly helpful and polite. The room was immaculately clean and the breakfast had something for everyone – including catering to my lactose intolerance. To top it all off, I was even upgraded to a room with a window. An ideal choice!

We had a lovely time during our stay. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always offering advice and help to make our stay even better. They made a real effort to make it a great experience, and I was celebrating my birthday, so they left a special surprise in my room, which was a really nice and thoughtful touch. The wine o'clock was a fantastic experience, where we got to relax and enjoy a glass on the rooftop. If we come back to Barcelona, then this will be our go-to place. :) :)

We had an excellent stay close to las Ramblas. The location could not have been better, near both old town and paseo de gracia, and right next to the Metro stop cataluya. For Europe standards the rooms were a typical size yet very nice and comfortable. The staff at the hotel were a highlight of our stay - especially Magda and Ramon - making us feel welcome with their hospitality and helpful recommendations. Happy hour at 7pm on the 5th floor terrace was a great addition to the hotel's offerings, and la BOQUERIA market was conveniently close for morning coffee, fruit and juice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.

This hotel is a real find in Barcelona. It is in a great spot, with all of the tourist attractions within a 10 to 15 minute walk, making it ideal for a city break. The rooms overlooking La Ramblas have a balcony, which is great for people watching. The air conditioning in the room works very well and you can't hear the noise from La Ramblas once you close the windows. The staff are really friendly and attentive. As it's a boutique hotel, all of the staff recognise you and greet you when they see you, making the stay more personal. You can ask for free refills of water, and coffee is available all day. Between 7 and 8pm, there is a rooftop Wine O'Clock event, where you can enjoy wine and snacks free of charge. Breakfast includes continental options as well as a hot dish, however the hot dishes can be a bit disappointing as you only get limited choices - sausage, bacon and egg - and the same options are not always available during your stay. All in all, it was an excellent experience and we will definitely stay here when we come to Barcelona next time!
