1881 Barcelona Gran Rosellon Hotel

This time we don't get an apology, I'm told that's not the policy. I asked to speak to a Manager, but they said they were already gone. Avoid this facility in any way!

Another terrible experience at Bcn Urbaness Hotels Gran Rosellon. I stayed there for 3 days in June and the room was extremely below average quality. We were surprised to find the accommodations to be far less than what we paid for, as pictures can attest. To make matters worse, the first morning of our stay there were almost no breakfast items left due to an electrical appliance malfunction. We were told that we would be refunded, but when we asked again the next day we were met with attitude and excuses instead. A Manager was nowhere to be found and the receptionist refused to apologize for the incident. Avoid this facility at all costs!

I was looking for a reasonably priced hotel in a good location and decided on Bcn Urbaness Hotels Gran Rosellon. Unfortunately, my stay ended up being a disaster. At first, the air-con unit outside my room made it impossible to sleep - it came on and off for several minutes in a row, repeating throughout the night. I asked for a new room, but was told the hotel was full. The second night, I could hear conversations through both walls. Adding to this, I was woken in the middle of the night by a loud noise from above my bathroom, (I think it was a laundry room) with water erupting through the pipes. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this hotel - it was too noisy, not soundproofed and not worth the money.
