Acta Atrium Palace

We had a great stay in Barcelona. The hotel was situated on a main boulevard, near Las Ramblas and several other tourist hotspots - we felt confident we were in a safe area. The rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was a highlight, with its large dressing area, and there was enough room for all of our luggage. There was a coffee maker and refrigerator in the room, which was really convenient. The staff at reception were professional, friendly and really helpful. Additionally, the breakfast buffet was wonderful - it was so much nicer to have a full and tasty breakfast right there instead of having to go out in search of coffee and a danish. The breakfast team were very friendly and the food was fresh, full of flavour and well presented. They even had Cava if you wanted to feel like you were truly on holiday. Overall, we had a great time and appreciated the professionalism of the hotel team.

Just returned from a 3 night stay in a superior room with a balcony. I opted for the upgrade, which was worth it as we used the balcony a few times. The room had everything we needed - coffee machine, robes & slippers, big bathroom, toiletries, hairdryer, mini bar, and the towels and linen were changed daily. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice, and was replenished throughout the morning. The hotel is situated in a safe neighbourhood and is a 15 minute walk from Las Ramblas. The shower could have been stronger and the toilet could have flushed faster, and a couple more plug sockets next to the bed would have been useful. All in all, the hotel was safe, welcoming and well equipped, and the staff were friendly. We would stay here again if visiting the city!

We made a last minute reservation for this particular property. The staff were very friendly, even upgrading our room. Unfortunately, the room was a bit worn down - the bed was very small, the hairdryer was old, and the coffee maker was broken. The terrace was not in the best condition, not well kept or pleasant to sit in. We paid €194 for one night, and we thought the hotel was only worthy of 3 stars, certainly not worth the price. The location was great, however we don't plan on staying here again.

Staying for two nights at this hotel was a terrible experience. The first night, the air conditioning was not working, so I couldn't switch rooms. It was unbearably hot and I didn't get any sleep at all. As a result, I had no energy the following day. To top it off, I got woken up at 8 a.m. the second night due to roof construction. The management didn't seem to care in the slightest. Good luck!

I recently stayed in a hotel in Barcelona and I must say, the staff were exceptional ?? They were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. I would rate their service a 10 out of 10 ?? However, I did find the rooms to be slightly dated and in need of some modernization ? The lack of plug sockets on both sides of the bed was a bit inconvenient, but not a deal breaker ? I would rate the rooms a 8 out of 10. Despite this, I must say that the bed was incredibly comfortable ☺️ and the shower was powerful with hot water readily available ? Everything in the room worked perfectly fine, which was great ✅ Overall, I had a very pleasing stay and I would recommend it to others ? The staff truly made the experience worth it ?
