I had an amazing stay at the hotel I stayed in. Not only was the room itself great, but the hotel's location was great too. Breakfast was impressive and the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. I think the reception desk staff deserve a special mention - they were so helpful and always willing to answer our questions. On June 1, 2023, they went above and beyond when one of our travel companions had a medical emergency. They called an ambulance and stayed with us until the paramedics took the patient to the hospital. They also found a cab for me and my husband so we could follow the ambulance. This amazing act of kindness was greatly appreciated.
?????
Stayed here for two nights to explore the city and would say that the £150 p/night does not quite match up to the 4 star label ??. Although the hotel looks great on the outside and in the photos, it's a mixed bag ??♂️. The reception staff were friendly and check-in was easy, but the room was just OK. The beds weren't particularly comfortable, but we made do for our two-night stay ??. The best part of this place was definitely the location ?, as it was easy to access everything by walking, bus or metro ?. The breakfast was good, with a decent selection of hot and cold food and a chef who could whip up omelets or crêpes ??. All in all, I probably wouldn't stay here again as £150 is too much for a night when there are other options in the area ???.
This hotel is an ideal option for business trips. Its central location makes it very convenient and the rooms are surprisingly spacious. The design seems rather plain and uninspiring, however it is still a good value for money. Breakfast selection is satisfactory. If you're hoping to get a romantic getaway, this may not be the place for you.
My daughter and I had a wonderful three night holiday in an excellent location with most attractions a 10-15 minute walk away. The staff were especially accommodating, with a special mention to Moises who really helped us make the most of our stay. The room was very spacious, with a balcony to the front of the building and no noise from the traffic outside. The beds were comfortable and clean. We had to request a kettle and the card for the iron, but these were provided promptly. The second vanity space outside of the bathroom proved useful. The minor downside was not being able to change the language setting on the tv, and one of the lifts really was a little rickety. Breakfast was plentiful with both hot and cold food, although the hot foods were really lukewarm as was the water for the tea. In summary, the staff, location and facilities made this the perfect choice for us and we would happily stay here again if returning to Barcelona.
Very welcoming, chatty and helpful and really made you feel like as if you were at home.
We had a wonderful experience at Acta Atrium Palace and were pleasantly surprised at how high quality the hotel was for the price. The room was spacious and clean, and had a small balcony overlooking the Gran Via. The noise from the street was present, but it was quite pleasant in the evening. Toiletries were provided, and the housekeeping staff did a great job maintaining the room. Breakfast was exceptional with a large variety of foods, and the staff were attentive in keeping the area clean and stocked. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and we felt very welcome. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
