This hotel was great! The room was beautiful and extremely tidy, and the large window was a great plus. The staff were incredible and very accommodating. For my birthday, I was surprised with a handwritten card and it was such a thoughtful gesture. In addition, the breakfast had a lot of options with fresh food. Highly recommended!
This recently refurbished hotel in the centre of Barcelona offers a great stay. The friendly and knowledgeable staff at reception were so helpful - for instance, I was arriving late due to a delayed flight, and they even organised a taxi for me as the Metro stops running before midnight on weekdays. The rooms are fresh and modern with a white and purple colour scheme, although this may not be to everyone's taste. I liked the air-conditioning system as it was efficient and silent, allowing me to get a good night's sleep. As for breakfast, the choice and quality was as you'd expect from a mid-range Spanish hotel, comparable to a UK Holiday Inn. The only regret I have is not staying longer than two nights!
The room that we stayed in had a great view of the street, but the window did nothing to block out the noise. We were really disappointed with our stay given the cost, so we do not recommend it.
This hotel was ?! The speaker in the room allowed me to play my own songs, while the beds were incredibly ? comfortable. As a female traveler, I appreciated the great location which was ?♀️safe and easy to walk around. The staff were really friendly and I felt ?secure with the scanning system in place as you enter and go up certain floors in the building. Last but not least, the facility was spotless! ??
The moment I arrived at the reception, I felt like I was going through a strict check-point. I didn't feel comfortable at all there as the colors of the place were overly bright, almost ?. What really made my stay quite unpleasant though was the room I got assigned to — no windows, ?just a glass front pointing to the stairways, so people could see me from close up if I didn't keep the curtains closed. The aircon was on but no air circulation at all, making it feel like I couldn't breathe in my room. It was so bad, I woke up dizzy and desperate to get outside and inhale some oxygen. ?Considering the hotel wasn't even occupied, I was so frustrated that the check in personal gave me that room. ?What did I do to deserve such subtle mistreatment?
