Barcelona House

The hotel was clen and a nice standrad for a 3*. Really good location! We found the staf?‍? helpfUl and polite?. Wen we arived our room was lovly and spacioUs howeVer the patio styl dorr was brokn and would not close prperly?. We toll toy?‍♀️ the receptionist and they movd us to anothr room with no conserns??. The room they moved us to wS fine also?. Situatd centrally and in a busy part of Barcelona, but quiet enuf at nite time?. Beds were comfy?. More pilows would have been great?! Breakfast was ok for us‼️ (bacon?, croissants?, toast?, cakes?, cereal?, som form of sausages?). The yoGurt was not very nce?. The coffe? was decent enuf, howevr the water and orange juice needd to be colder as it tasted a beit tepid?. If we were visitng again we would stay here?. Resonable cost and standrad overall?.

The accommodation had some pros, such as nice rooms and comfy beds. It was also conveniently located near Las Ramblas and Barceloneta beach. However, the breakfast selection was inadequate: dry and nasty white bread, cold greasy bacon, tiny greasy chorizo pieces, tomatoes and sand dry cakes. There were also no eggs available. The coffee, tea and juice situation was also dire. The hotel was situated above a nightclub/bar that opened 7 days a week, making it quite noisy at night. Additionally, the staff at reception were abrupt and rude. All in all, not an ideal place to stay.

However, I would opt for a street side room with two beds.

This boutique hotel is situated in the heart of the gothic quarter. We stayed in a spacious room with a third bed, although the twin beds were a bit small and the pillows were flat. The noise from the street was loud, even on the fifth floor, and we had to keep the curtains closed as the apartments across the way were only 15 feet away. Amenities included a TV, a hairdryer that often overheated, and hygienic glasses, soap, shampoo, body gel, a comb, toothbrush and toothpaste, and a shaving pack. The staff at the front desk were very knowledgeable and helpful, but unfortunately there was no ice available for drinks. The area was interesting and full of great shops and restaurants, plus the price was very good. I'd come back, but would opt for a room with two beds and a different view.

This accommodation is conveniently placed and well-maintained. Pia at reception was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable - if she didn't know the answer to our questions she would go out of her way to find it. Continental breakfast is provided, and towels and rooms are cleaned regularly. The only downside is that there is no way to get a cup of tea outside of breakfast. All in all, I would definitely recommend staying here.

This hotel was a great choice! The room was cozy and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. Plus, the breakfast was really tasty. The only downside is that there is a lot of noise at night which can be hard to sleep through. Some earplugs would help, but overall this was really great value for money.
