Overall a pleasant stay, it was exactly what you can expect for the price. A nice and clean room, good location and welcoming staff. The only downside was that the bed was a bit hard, and the shower had no curtain, making the bathroom a bit wet after using. The security provided was excellent and the noise from outside was kept outside. The noises from inside the hotel can be a bit much though. All in all, it was a great-value stay at Barcelona House!
The location of the Barcelona House is great! The staff were friendly and helpful. The elevator is small and slow though. The room is fairly minimal but the bed wasn't too comfortable. Unfortunately there was no water, coffee machine or tea in the room. The breakfast was ok but a bit limited. All in all it was a decent stay but nothing particularly remarkable.

We stayed at Barcelona House for one night- it was very easy to find, being located near la rambles- just turn left from the Ale Hop shop! The room was clean, however it was surprising that it had a third bed there as we only needed two. We were located on the 5th floor, with a view of a plain white wall. The air con was a bit difficult to get it to the right temperature, as I like a cold room to sleep in. The bathroom was good with a separate toilet, though it lacked places to put your stuff and I believe more bins should be provided. The shower was nice-hot water and good pressure. Breakfast was continental, but I wasn't very pleased with the drinks machine not producing hot water as hot as I like it. Other than these minor issues, the location was great, check-in was at 3pm and check-out was 11.30am. All in all it was a good stay, and great placement.
I recently stayed at Barcelona House and I have to say they have terrible service. The staff was unhelpful, unprofessional, and not knowledgeable. I paid extra for a room with a view, but all I got was an excuse. When I complained, they said to check the website I used for bookings (Agoda). They had the audacity to claim that because the hotel is located in the city centre, there won’t be a view from the room. All in all, it was not a pleasant experience and I wouldn’t even give them a single star rating.
