The elevators at this hotel require special cards for security, which I understand. However, the card readers don't always seem to work, causing inconvenience. During my stay, my hotel room was opened by another guest's key, even though I had locked it before leaving. This raises concerns about the digital system used for assigning rooms. Despite informing the staff, no proactive steps were taken to resolve the issue or even apologize. When I finally made it to the bar, I found out my colleagues had received a voucher for a free drink, but I hadn't. When I ordered a Screwdriver, the bartender seemed confused and I had to clarify my order multiple times before receiving plain orange juice without any vodka. It seems like I may have looked too young to be served alcohol, even though I am 57 years old. The constant elevator music can also be overwhelming, especially at night. Overall, I leave it up to the readers to decide if this warrants a 4-star rating.
My stay at a hotel in Barcelona was not a pleasant one. After checking in late at night, my partner and I were woken up at 6am by intruders who broke into our room and sprayed it with a fire extinguisher. We were terrified and tried to call security multiple times, but there was no response for three hours. The commotion in the corridor also added to our fear. We eventually mustered the courage to go to reception and request a checkout due to the unsafe environment. The staff were understanding and agreed to refund our week-long stay. However, to our dismay, the receptionist accidentally charged us for the entire stay instead of refunding us. Despite numerous apologies, we are still fighting to get our money back months later. The lack of cooperation from the receptionist and her manager has made this experience incredibly stressful. I wouldn't recommend this hotel as it was not only unsafe, but also had poor service. I hope to speak to a more competent member of management to resolve this issue. Any contact information for someone who can help would be greatly appreciated.
Staying at this hotel wasn't an amazing experience ??. We had a few issues with the room reservations due to a third party, and the rooftop bar was unfortunately closed ?. The rooms and service were ok, nothing to write home about. On the plus side, the breakfast was quite enjoyable ? and we were very close to the Metro ?.
This place was really remarkable! The staff was so pleasant to be around and the accommodations were top-notch. It was in a great location near Montjuic and right next to a metro station. The rooftop bar and pool was mesmerizing and had some amazing views to boot. The breakfast selection was impressive, with a great selection of both hot and cold dishes, all freshly prepared. Highly recommend!
We had a good stay at this hotel! The staff were really helpful, especially Sara at the reception. There is a great rooftop swimming pool, and the location is perfect–just outside Espanya Metro and near Mont Montjuic. It's also close to the city centre and other major attractions–all just a few metro stops away. It was a great experience overall.
