You are however extremely well located in front of the Fira de Barcelona and only two metro stations from downtown!

Second stay in this hotel and still I was positively surprised every day. Superb decoration all around the hotel, mountains of pillows, providing softness and comfort. Cleanliness and tidiness and the staff always attentive to our needs. The pool is a must, the service and food are excellent. I highly recommend Catalonia Barcelona Plaza!
We stayed at the Catalonia Barcelona Plaza and had an amazing experience. From check-in to checking-out, the staff were friendly and highly accommodating. Our room was large and comfortable, and the bed was one of the best I've ever slept on. In the morning, the breakfast had huge selection of food and drinks to choose from. The best part of this hotel is its location, as it's just a short walk away from the nearest metro station, so we were able to explore the city with ease. Highly recommend this place & looking forward to return soon.
Room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were great. But upon arrival to the room, I realized it was unbearably hot due to the lack of air circulation and working temperature controls. I reported this issue to the staff, and was told that this was the norm and that I should open the windows to cool down the room. I cracked the window open all night, but the temperature was still around 25-26C until the morning. With such a late arrival and early departure, it made finding a different hotel difficult and the no-refund policy of 24 hours made it nearly impossible. The staff didn't mention this issue to me before signing in and gave no satisfactory solution when I complained directly to them.
Stayed at Catalonia Barcelona Plaza during my visit to the city, and it was a wonderful experience. I found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful, ready to answer any questions and make sure I had a comfortable stay. The location is great for going to the concert, and the shopping center is just a few minutes away with great restaurants, a supermarket, and lots of other shops. I was also upgraded to a better room as a member of their loyalty scheme, which was an added bonus. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great hotel in Barcelona.
