Catalonia Magdalenes

My wife and I recently stayed at this fantastic hotel and had an amazing experience. All of the employees were extremely helpful and the hotel is perfect for travelers who need recommendations on where to eat, what to do, and how to get around Barcelona. It's situated in the perfect spot for a gothic quarter exploration and is not too far from other key parts of the city. The rooms were kept very tidy, as were the public areas. The roof bar was absolutely incredible. We'll definitely be coming back!

The experience with the staff made the stay very nice. Everyone we interacted with was so kind and helpful. Silverio provided an amazing level of service by helping us with our meal at the rooftop when we were famished. We are truly thankful for the excellent customer service. This hotel was definitely a great choice.

Just back from a great 4 night break celebrating my husband's 70th birthday with family and friends. What a fabulous hidden gem! The staff were so welcoming and helpful and the rooms were lovely, very large and clean with great toiletries. The staff simply couldn't do enough for us - a special shout out to Ruth at breakfast for helping to surprise the birthday boy, Simo for personally going down the street to get us a taxi after a booking confusion, and Marco for great service at the roof top bar. We were so pleased with our stay. The only negative was the recommendations for celebration dining - there were very limited menus, not much atmosphere, and it was very expensive. Would definitely stay here again without exception.

This is the second time I've stayed here, and it's been a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, and the hotel is located in the best spot - it's central yet hidden away in a quiet little side street, which gives it a lovely, almost magical feel. The design of the whole place is beautiful, and the rooms are well decorated too. We arrived by an airport shuttle to Catalunya Square, so it was extremely easy to get to the hotel with luggage in tow. The hotel beds are incredibly comfortable, and the showers are excellent. On request, I was offered a different room with a huge bathtub - it was amazing! We stayed in a room looking out onto the street, but it was surprisingly quiet with the window closed, and it was lovely to experience the neighbourhood in such a great way.

We recently visited Barcelona on a long weekend and were fortunate enough to stay in a hotel with extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. Not only was this present at the reception desk, but we were also delighted to find Marco and his colleagues up on the terrace serving drinks. They certainly knew how to make the experience memorable! The hotel itself was impeccably clean and comfortable - we would definitely return.
