Over 400 sculptures and paintings are spread throughout the entire hotel, giving guests exclusive encounters with art and design.Rooms have different layouts, from 18th century furniture to contemporary Barcelona designers. They are not too big, but the location of the hotel is worth that con.We love above all, the rooftop terrace with swimming pool and the cool design and quietness of the rooms..

We had a suite with no window. To use the sauna and spa facilities, you need to book in advance and they come at an extra cost. We asked the reception staff if we could access the gym which was closed due to ongoing work, but they simply said "yes it's closed" without providing any further explanation. We felt like we were paying a premium for a 'bunker' with no gym or spa facilities - definitely not a 5-star hotel.
This was our first visit to Barcelona in many years. A friend stayed at this hotel a few years ago and highly recommended it. We were not disappointed. Our room was large and comfortable. The hotel itself is very nice and the staff always went out of their way to be helpful. Marta was fantastic, booking dinner reservations for each night we were there - every choice was excellent! She even arranged a tour of Montserrat for us with a reputable tour group. The hotel's location is very good, walkable to many of Barcelona's attractions. Taxi's are always nearby if the destination is further away. We hope to return to this hotel, our new go-to in Barcelona. TIP - staying here allows free admission to the amazing Egyptian Museum across the street.
We had a wonderful stay at this Small Luxury Hotel of the World. The breakfast restaurant offered a peaceful atmosphere, and I was able to get the meal I wanted. Rejuvenation was the name of the game poolside up on the roof-top, and it was pure bliss. However, our check-in was slightly marred by the fact that the room wasn't available yet, which had us waiting for more than half an hour.
We had the pleasure of staying in a well-known hotel while in Barcelona. We stayed in a junior suite with our daughter, giving her a bit of privacy. The staff was extremely friendly and warm and often greeted us by name. The breakfast was quite large, the service was impeccable, and the food was nothing short of scrumptious. My only criticism would be the lighting in the bathroom; for a black bathroom, it needed more lights! It was slightly too dark.
The rooftop pool is amazing and we spent a good portion of our days there. Would return again!
Loved our stay at the Claris Hotel & Spa GL, a Small Luxury Hotel of the World in Barcelona! This was our first time in the city and the location of the hotel was perfect for our family of three. The room was great, and the staff and amenities at the Claris were excellent. We had the opportunity to do laundry nearby which was a great convenience. The highlight of our stay was definitely the rooftop pool; we spent many days enjoying it, and we would definitely return again!
