The Corner Hotel

This hotel was a real find! I can't recommend it highly enough; the location is superb, the rooms are incredibly comfortable, and the staff are fantastic. Even though I didn't get to try the breakfast, the rooftop bar was awesome and really good value for money.

We only stayed four days in Barcelona and lucked out finding a great hotel in the l'Eixample area. It was close enough to the action, but in a quiet location and had plenty of supermarkets, shops and restaurants in walking distance. We had read some reviews about thefts in the city, so we took precaution and had no issues. The check-in was hassle-free and our room was very comfortable. It contained two single beds pushed together to make a king size bed, complete with a Pillow Menu on the tv. I chose a feather pillow which was much better than the other hard pillows we had encountered. The room also had blackout curtains and a bluetooth speaker system. The rooftop terrace had pleasant seating, nice views and a bar - with a complimentary coupon for one drink. There was a pool but the weather was too cold to use it. The staff at reception was helpful and friendly, speaking English and greeting people when they arrived and departed. Natalia was particularly welcoming and helpful with offering good dining recommendations. We had to leave early in the morning and they arranged for a taxi upon request. Lastly, make sure to check the bill carefully as we were almost charged for items from the minibar that we hadn't taken. All in all, we would stay here again if we ever returned to Barcelona!

This place has been one of the best I've ever been to! The pool was unbelievably cold and the rooftop bar was stunning. The STAFF was amazing - better than I've experienced in any other place. I'm a hotel worker myself, and I can honestly say that every single one of them made sure our stay was more than enjoyable. Breakfast was incredible and they also gave us some great suggestions for places to eat, drink and visit nearby. One of the staff members even managed to get me a last-minute ticket for a football match next to my friend who had booked months in advance! I absolutely recommend this place – it can't be faulted at all. I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time here and I will definitely be coming back soon.

Stayed at The Corner Hotel in Barcelona as part of a TUI short break with my daughter (10 years). What a great modern hotel it is and conveniently located. Huge thanks to all the staff who were amazing and professional at all times. In particular Katherin who works at the rooftop bar, main bar and her female colleague (sorry I cannot recall name). They, with their friendly smile, made us feel right at home. The room was impeccable and spacious. Plus the hotel is keen in being environmentally friendly. The rooftop bar and pool were an unexpected surprise, even though the pool was not heated we still had a great time! Breakfast had an excellent variety of food and drinks and the bar snacks, food and drinks were spot on and reasonably priced. All in all, a great stay in wonderful Barcelona.

The staff at this hotel were really helpful and knowledgeable. Our room was spotless and the whole hotel was clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the bathroom was just the right size. The breakfast had a good selection and everything was fresh. The hotel is conveniently located near bus routes and shops. They even provided complimentary cake and a drink for my wife on her birthday, which was a really nice touch.
