I must express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional service provided by the staff of this hotel in Barcelona. During my recent two-week stay with my 90-year-old father and a close friend, we were continuously impressed by the attentive, friendly, and professional attitude of the team. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home and we are forever grateful for the memorable experience. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
My mother and I had a fantastic stay at this hotel while exploring Barcelona for the first time. The spacious rooms were incredibly clean and the staff were absolutely wonderful. We were also pleased to find that the hotel was conveniently located near several excellent restaurants and within a short 5-minute walk to both La Ramblas and nearby bus stops. Highly recommended for anyone visiting this beautiful city!
The hotel was spotless and the staff were so kind and accommodating. Every member of staff went out of their way to label a map of the neighbourhood with a variety of restaurants and activities. The location couldn't have been better as our room had a stunning view of the water and there were plenty of nearby bars and eateries. I definitely suggest this place for folks who are traveling to Barcelona with either family or a special someone!.
I stayed at the Duquesa Suites Barcelona Hotel during my trip to Spain and I was disappointed by the experience. Whilst it had a nice location in a historic building, it didn't provide the 4 Star hotel experience I was expecting. The staff were friendly, but they were not empowered to go out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. The rooms were clean but basic; there was no kitchen, no seating area and no luggage rack. The shower curtain leaked water and we had to ask the staff for extra towels to mop up the mess. There was no coffee maker and no amenities in the common lobby. Ultimately, I don't think it is worth paying a premium to stay here.
We chose this hotel for our babymoon and were disappointed with the experience. The location is great, but the staff seemed to lack the drive and enthusiasm we wanted. The rooms were passable, but definitely not worth the high cost. Before we had stayed in a hotel closer to El Born, and it provided great service and value for our money. It's clear that this wasn't the case here.
