Duquesa Suites Landmark Hotel by Duquessa Hotel Collection

This accommodation was really great! The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating - they changed our room without any extra cost when we asked for a different view. The place was also very clean and conveniently located close to the city centre.

This hotel is situated in an excellent spot. Unfortunately, when we arrived after midnight, the main door was locked and we were forced to wait for a while until the member of staff on duty was available to let us in. The bedrooms are okay, but uninteresting decor-wise.

A nice hotel in a great location ?️ Easy walk to attractions, restaurants and shops ??️ Good size rooms with comfortable bed ? and very clean ? Nice roof top bar ? and plunge pool ?‍♀️ We also used the sister hotel rooftop bar ? Staff were very helpful ? ?

Pros: 1. We received extremely accommodating service when our flight was delayed and were happily booked for the next night. 2. Easy to arrive at - just a quick Metro ride then a 10 minute walk with our luggage. 3. Excellent location on the main street - trash is regularly cleaned up and plenty of nearby restaurants to eat at if you get home late. 4. Convenient markets close-by - one north 10 blocks up and one around the corner only 5 doors down, plus a bigger supermarket with everything that closes around 20:00/midnight. 5. 4 doors down is reputable Bo de B - three of us ate there for only €23. There is usually an hour wait to get seated but we managed to get a table within 15 minutes. 6. Staff are friendly and helpful, with great English. Edgar (from California) was particularly helpful and gave us lots of tips and advice. 7. Housekeeping was thorough - even went so far as to wash our dishes! 8. Quick taxi ride to the airport for just €20-€28. 9. Metro and bus stops nearby can take you anywhere you need in 10 minutes. Plus the beach is only across the street. 10. Zero noise when windows are shut. 11. Rooftop has amazing views. Cons: 1. The cost per night was more than I expected - €2,632.50 for 8 days but I ended up paying €2,717.46. This makes a big difference to the average nightly rate. 2. The rooftop closes at 12, which doesn't seem fair for guests paying €300+ per night. 3. Also the drinks on the roof top are quite pricey - €13 for a mojito which can be found for €8 across the street. This put me off ordering more.

Wonderful spot near restaurants, shops and the marina! Our room was incredibly comfortable, and the team were so helpful; special mention goes to Angel who checked us in on our first day and really went out of their way to make us feel at home. Everywhere remained spotless, and the shower was great. We would definitely stay here again, and thoroughly recommend it!
