Eurohotel Diagonal Port

This accommodation provided a terrible experience for the price. The staff were unhelpful and dismissive when we raised our concerns. We had to wait five days to have our room serviced and when we pointed this out, they tried to brush it off and implied it was our own fault. There was also no toilet paper provided and dirty towels in our room. We ultimately had a really negative experience due to the poor quality and attitude of the staff.

We had some doubts about our stay at Eurohotel Diagonal Port based on the reviews but it proved us wrong. The staff were great, the room was spotless (we had a double room) and the water pressure was really good. It was too cold to use the rooftop pool but we made use of the air-conditioning in our room. The breakfast variety was great with a mix of continental and Spanish delicacies like sausages and frittata. What's more, the hotel was located in a great spot, close to the beach and the shopping and nightlife in Las Ramblas Poblenou. Highly recommend!

I booked a room at the Eurohotel Diagonal Port after a long drive. When I arrived, I was immediately struck by how cold the room was. After unpacking my things, I wanted to wind down by watching tv, but realized it wasn't working. I called reception and they said someone would come and fix it, but after waiting over half an hour no one showed up. I decided I had to move to another room, and the next one wasn't any better. I strongly advise against staying here, it's an experience I wouldn't want anyone to go through.

We stayed at Eurohotel Diagonal Port for our sports tournament and the location was great, close to the venue. However, when it came to cleanliness it was a letdown. The shower design was such that it made the floor all wet when you used it and there was no complimentary bottle service or bidet towels. The staff were friendly but this hotel would be far from our first choice next time we visit Barcelona.

I recently stayed at the Eurohotel Diagonal Port for 6 nights and was overall not satisfied with my visit. Upon arrival, I was asked to pay an extra 22 € for fees that were not noted in the price at the time of booking on their website. When I looked at the price on the rooms, I noticed the price for the same days was only 125 €/night. Furthermore, there was nothing provided in the room for boiling water, tea, coffee, etc. The room was also quite small, with no drawers or closet to put clothes and the bathroom stocked with poor quality products, such as 3 paper tissues in a plastic bag, a toothbrush of poor quality in a plastic bag, a small soap of poor quality in a plastic bag, and a paper glass in a plastic bag. Not even a brush for the toilets was provided. On top of that, there was pigeon poop on the balcony, which was not clean and no towel or beach towel at the pool. When weighing the price of the room against the quality of the service, room, and place, it is simply not worth it.
