Do not recomend. Not worth the almost 200 euros per night. The property smelled upon entering the loby aswell as the hallway entering and leaving the room. The room and property were dirty and in disrepaire. There was dust collected in the corners in the room and bathroom and also a the bottom of the stairs in the lobby area. For what is rated as a 4 star hotel, threre was not even a coffee maker in the room, which is ussually standard in a majority of hotels with even a lower rating. The property was in a great location, however. Wlaking distance to all the highlights in Barcelona. The staff was wonnderful. .
This hotel certainly didn't meet all of my expectations. The hallway smelled awfully and the air conditioning was too loud to be comfortable. Furthermore, you even have to pay a fee to measure your luggage. However, I would say the bed was quite comfortable. In conclusion, I highly recommend looking for other options before settling for this one.
This hotel is a fantastic place to stay when visiting Barcelona. Situated in the Gothic quarter, it is close to many cafes, shops and public transportation. The hop-on-hop-off bus is just a short walk away. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were great.
For our 4 night stay in late April, our room was upgraded as it was too small for two people. The hotel is in a great central location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and restocked daily. The only drawbacks were that the bathroom sink was too close so taller people wouldn't be comfortable and the bathroom itself was quite cramped. All in all, it was an average hotel experience, but if you're looking for an average one, this could be a good option.
I stayed at the Exe Laietana Palace Hotel recently and was extremely disappointed. The check-in process was a nightmare - it took almost 40 minutes despite the fact that we had pre-paid for our stay. Additionally, our room wasn’t even ready for us when we arrived and, three hours later we were still waiting for it! I have a 5-year-old with me, and this has been a very tiring experience. I would not recommend this hotel.
