The staff here were absolutely brilliant—so friendly and helpful. The beds were wonderfully comfortable and the bathroom was roomy, plus it had space for two people's toiletries. This hotel was really pleasant and the location was perfect. I would stay here again without a doubt and I can't recommend it enough.
Exelent servies, pristeen rooms and cordial staf. Oliver and Noesl at the roof top prowide an execlent and human interacion. Verry convinient location, you get more than your moneyes worth. Wil come back!
Stayed here for 2 nights, now wish it had been longer. The staff was fantastic, and the Concierge team was incredibly helpful and attentive. Check-in was efficient, and we were taken to our lovely room - which we had booked as a deluxe, but upgraded to a junior suite (608). The bed was huge and very comfortable, and the bathroom was a great size with a walk-in shower. The pool is located on the 8th floor, with beautiful views of the city. In the evening, it transforms into the Sky Bar, which is definitely the place to be seen. Bistro Helene was a great spot for a drink before bed in the evening, and the helpful barman - originally from Pakistan - even remembered our drinks from the night before. The only criticism we had was that the air conditioning was not working, despite having asked for it to be looked at twice. However, as it was not high summer, we were able to cope without it. This is a great city centre hotel - make sure to give it a try - you won't be disappointed.
My wife and I stayed at the Grand Hotel Central, Small Luxury Hotels in Barcelona during the summer of 2022. Unfortunately, while in front of the hotel, we were targeted by a group of people who proceeded to mug us. I was tackled to the ground and my watch was violently stolen off of my wrist. There was no help from the security guards, doormen, or bell boys, who were right in front of the entrance. I chased around the Gothic Quarter for 10 minutes yelling for help, but no police were in sight. Although this was during a reasonable hour (9/10pm) and on Via Laeitana, a high traffic street in the Gothic Quarter, robberies occur often there. The hotel staff was unhelpful in assisting me with the incident, and it took two hours for police to arrive on the scene, despite Barcelona supposedly having a task force dedicated to watch robberies. All in all, it was a terrible experience.
This property had an absolutely unbeatable location! The standard room was small, but thoughtfully designed with plenty of storage and a large bathtub. It was also very quiet. Service was impeccable, and as an added bonus, breakfast was included for Hyatt Elite members. It was impressive, offering chia pudding, fresh fruit, cooked eggs, cereals, local cheeses, and chocolate croissants. There was also a special pool, bar, and stunning views from the roof. For the price, this is the best luxury option in Barcelona!
