I was so disappointed with my stay in this HCC St. Moritz Hotel.
I had ants on my floor when I came into the room. The bathroom and shower were very low quality, and I had to wear flippers and stand in a tiny bath. The AC was really bad - it didn't cool the room whatsoever and I couldn't even stay inside during the day. I was incredibly disappointed with my stay.
Breakfast wasn't great which is why we decided to forgo the second one and explore the many other places to eat in the vicinity. Despite this, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, we could still hear our neighbors quite clearly. Also, our room overlooked the terrace bar, which was quite noisy when it was busy.
The services, staff, cleanliness, A/C, and location of this hotel were incredible. It was very close to public transportation options like the Aerobus and Metro, making travel a breeze. The room rate was quite reasonable as well. If I ever find myself in Barcelona again, this hotel will certainly be at the top of my list. I highly recommend it.
If you want to immerse yourself in the local atmosphere, this is the spot. Most of the staff, particularly in the restaurant and hotel manager's office, exemplify rudeness. Internet service is spotty, if available at all. The beds are not made at 6pm, and electricity blackouts occur in the rooms. Furthermore, the linen has not been changed from the last guest. Despite these issues, it is an enjoyable stay and the locals display their characteristic attitude.
We bought a great package from Air Transat Canada. The facilities were impeccably clean, and the staff at the front desk were so helpful and friendly. The hotel was in a really convenient area, close enough to walk to most of the top attractions in the city.
