I recently stayed at Hotel Barcelona Catedral and had a wonderful time. The hotel's location is simply perfect, close to the La Rambla and the Gothic Quarter, as well as walking distance to the beach. The staff had an amazing work ethic and were amazingly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also fantastic - there was freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, pastries, fresh fruit, jam, butter and yogurts, plus you could order freshly cooked items from the menu. The rooms were a decent size, with plenty of space for a city break, and were kept very clean. There was a bit of wear and tear here and there, but nothing major. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend the Hotel Barcelona Catedral to others!

The stay at Hotel Barcelona Catedral was a truly memorable experience! Its location is absolutely ideal, right around the corner from the gothic cathedral. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the quality of service was great. Breakfast was delicious, with a great selection. The gym was quite basic, but the hotel was still able to give us a room that didn't suffer from the bell noise of the cathedral. Unfortunately, the air con wasn't great as it is only a single temperature throughout the hotel. But the restaurant had great air con and the fan in our room was set to the highest level which meant that we stayed cool even with our window open. We took advantage of the two great restaurants - the Tapas bar was a particular hit! All in all, it was a fantastic stay and a great value - we'd definitely recommend it!
I absolutely adored my stay!! The location was perfect and the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. The breakfast selection was amazing, with a variety of pastries, Spanish ham, and delicious omelettes. The views of Barcelona were incredible, especially from the rooftop pool! On top of all this, I was able to easily catch a bus to Montserrat and Sagrada Familia, and I'm even going on a hot air ballooning tour tomorrow! I couldn't recommend this hotel more and would definitely stay here again.
