Rooms conceived as lofts

Opened early 2006, this original hotel was an old hospital. The dimensions are therefore unusual with rooms conceived as lofts in an Art Nouveau style, joining iron and apparent stone walls, wells of vertical light, all in a great Asian Zen influence very relaxing. Archetype of design hotels, the hotel has taken its place among the hotels in vogue in Barcelona. It is also ideally placed close to La Ramblas and the Paseo de Gracia. To discover!

This property is presented as a 4-star hotel, but its accommodations are more reflective of a 2-star level. Amenities were limited and in generally poor condition, giving off a feeling of oldness and dirtiness. We experienced a distinct fishy smell in the bathrooms and the hotel staff responded that this problem is not uncommon in Barcelona. The ‘gym’ was not fit for use, only containing a treadmill and a broken cycling machine. Simple toiletries were missing, towels and bathrobes were full of holes, and basic toilet fixtures were broken or falling out. This is only a brief overview of the inadequate experience.

I highly recommend this establishment. The employees were exceptionally friendly, and the place was perfectly located, making it easy to get to cafes, stores and attractions. Additionally, the hotel was spotless. Everyone on staff was very attentive and responded quickly to our needs. I hope to stay there again or at one of the other locations this hotel owns.

The entire staff at this hotel created a wonderful atmosphere for my stay. I was impressed by the fresh and varied breakfast selection, which included an array of meats, bread, fruit, yogurt, and salad, as well as the option to order eggs to your liking. It was the perfect way to start the day!

Having visited this hotel on three occasions, I am still astounded at its elegance. The decoration is exquisite, and the location could not be better. The room was incredibly peaceful, with a wonderfully cozy bed, and everything was super clean. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel so welcomed and taken care of. I will undoubtedly be staying here again and strongly suggest this hotel to anyone visiting this beautiful city.

Highly recomend staying rite in the hub of Barcelona with many restaurants near by. Hotel was lovely with grate facilites and frendly staff who went out of thier way to welcome us - would definately stay here again.
