I had an excellent stay at this ???! The room was well-equipped with amenities such as refrigerator, ice bucket with an ice machine in the hallway, toothbrush, shoe polish, shampoo, and an iron. The view from the rooftop pool was stunning and the sunbeds were very comfortable. The only downside was the ??♀️ that the pool didn't seem very clean and bar staff made you wait quite a while before you could order your drink. Overall, I had a wonderful experience! ????
The staff went out of their way to take care of me. I was able to check out late which was appreciated. I had a pleasant time at the pool area and the view of the SEGRADA FAMILIA was amazing. The bar service exceeded my expectations and the food was delicious. The only issue was that I needed to get 3 cards because the one I had would stop working quickly although reception was able to address it quickly.
Arriving at this hotel was a less than welcoming experience. Trying to speak to the manager in order to sort an issue with my booking, I was told he was unavailable. When asking if he could be contacted, I was met with a huff of annoyance. The advertised gym and sauna proved to be almost useless, only opening at a certain time with limited capacity and needing to be booked in advance. Breakfast was also an issue, as I had been accidentally charged for what was included in my booking. Despite its great setting, the service and amenities were not up to scratch.
My wife and I decided to take a spontaneous trip to Barcelona and chose this hotel due to its price and central location. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a roomy corner suite with a view of the Torre Glories. Overall, our stay was excellent apart from the slightly disappointing breakfast.
The staff at Hotel SB Glow **** Sup were very friendly and helpful, which was a definite plus, but unfortunately the hardware did not match up. We often had to wait for a long time for the lifts, the hotel had problems working properly, and the walls were so thin that we could hear our neighbours. Additionally, we were unable to order food out of regular hours, the showers didn't empty quickly enough so there were flooding issues and the TV had no international coverage. Unfortunately, the area was also quite pedestrian and not very special. All in all, the experience wasn't great.
