This hotel was a wonderful place to stay. The staff members were incredibly helpful and kind. We were even able to check in early thanks to the help of Alessio, who also offered us a complimentary upgrade. His hospitality was greatly appreciated. Throughout our two-night stay, the staff continued to be accommodating and friendly. The rooms were cleaned daily, but we were reminded to be cautious of pickpockets in the area. Despite this warning, we felt safe during our stay. The location was a bit of a walk from popular attractions like the Cathedral and Barceloneta beach, but a quick €10 Uber ride made it easy to get around, especially when going to clubs like SHÔKO at night. Overall, this hotel was an excellent choice for a city break with its top-notch service and friendly staff.
During our stay at the Hotel Soho in Barcelona, we were assigned a room on the 2nd floor facing the street. Unfortunately, the street noise made it difficult to sleep at night. Additionally, we noticed that both the room and corridor were quite dim, despite having all the lights turned on. The fluorescent lamp above the TV was also not functioning, giving us the impression that the hotel may be in need of some updates. However, the convenient location of the hotel made up for these drawbacks. We were able to easily access nearby restaurants and even a supermarket. The metro station right next to the hotel also made it easy to explore the city. The staff were friendly and the check-in process was efficient, making our overall experience a pleasant one.
Our stay at the Hotel Soho in Barcelona was absolutely fantastic! The staff were extremely friendly and always willing to offer helpful tips and assistance with anything we needed. Our room was impeccably clean and had a lovely view from the rooftop where we were able to spot the iconic Sagrada Familia. The food at the hotel was also delicious and added to our overall enjoyable experience. We also appreciated the convenient location in the heart of the city, with easy access to nearby bars and restaurants.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this highly secure, impeccably clean, and conveniently situated accommodation in Barcelona. The Metro (subway) is easily accessible and the area is also perfect for walking, even during the late hours. The impeccable service and attention from the staff, particularly Adrià at the front desk, truly exceeded our expectations. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!
During our short stay in Barcelona, my partner and I were looking for a centrally located hotel near the main attractions. Our choice proved to be a great decision as we found Soho to be the perfect fit! As avid walkers, we were able to explore 12 different sites on foot, but for those who prefer public transportation, the bus and metro are conveniently located right across the street. However, the real highlight of our stay was the friendly and helpful front desk concierge, who goes by the name of Freddie. Thanks to his insider tips, we were able to discover hidden gems and fantastic eateries that we would have otherwise missed. Freddie genuinely cares about the guest experience and we truly appreciated him. The rooms were also pleasant, clean and comfortable. Just a word of caution, if you choose a room facing the street, expect some traffic noise. But don't worry, it's nothing that will keep you awake at night. We felt completely safe walking around the area even late at night. While we didn't opt for the breakfast, we found the room itself to be great value for money. Have a wonderful stay!
