A beautifully quirky hotel! I really liked its distinct style. It was in a great position for exploring Barcelona, and the staff were so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was great, the rooms were modern and very tidy, and the beds were very comfortable. All in all it was a great experience - lots of thumbs up! ?
This ultra-modern hotel provided a helpful and convenient stay. It took some time to get accustomed to the modern functions, but we ultimately succeeded. To top it off, our terrace offered stunning views of the night's sky. Breakfast was complete with fantastic options, from the pastries to the more savory dishes. A stay here would definitely be on our list if we ever returned to Barcelona.
My recent stay at the Hotel Soho was a wonderful experience! The staff were friendly and professional, and the room was spotlessly clean. The air conditioning made for a comfortable stay and the hotel was in a great location - just a 10-minute walk away from the nearest tourist bus stop, beside the metro and just over the road to the Gothic Quarter. The breakfast buffet was delicious and I would have no hesitation in returning to the Hotel Soho should I visit Barcelona again.
This is really a 4.5 rating, but I rounded up. The staff here was outstanding! They went the extra mile to resolve any issues that arose. Our bikes got delayed by Air Canada and the staff was on top of it, no matter who was on shift. The room was spotless and plenty spacious, even for our bikes. The bedding was cozy and smelled fresh, not a problem for me to snuggle up in. Breakfast wasn't just economical, but also pretty tasty – although the scrambled eggs could use improvement. The one downside was the towels, which were a bit too flimsy for such a nice hotel. Also, the design of the shower meant the floor got quite wet as the door didn't enclose it fully. Before booking, I thought we would need to take the metro to visit the sights like Sagrada Familia and the Barcelona Aquarium, but, as it turned out, it's fun to explore Barcelona by foot or even bike. All in all, this was a great stay, and I would book it again if I'm ever in the city.
We were pleasantly surprised by the location of this hotel - it was close enough to the sights we wanted to visit yet far enough away to provide us with a bit of peace and quiet. The staff at the front desk (Roberto was incredibly helpful) and in the breakfast area were lovely. The terrace room we had (the one with the sign) was really spacious and the modern design was gorgeous. It was great that our whole party of 8 could meet up on the balcony of our room at the end of the day. Breakfast provided a varied selection of both hot and cold dishes - overall an excellent start to the day! We'd come back here in a heartbeat if we ever visit Barcelona again.
